Swanson was feinting to start the round, hoping to freeze Stephens, who appeared to be recovered from the liver kick that hurt him so badly in round three.
In fact, he was jumping in with lame punches that Swanson was easily jumping back to avoid.
Cub went back to firing off leg kicks while the commentary team wondered if Stephens had suffered a broken right hand. In fairness, he appeared to be sticking with punches with his left hand and shooting in for takedowns.
Swanson forced a stalemate and they exchanged punches to close the round. Neither could find a home for their shots.
