Titan Fighting Championship (Titan FC) is giving away some gold.
Hoping to get their hands on it will be Matt Riddle and Ben Saunders, who sling leather for the 170-pound title at the upcoming Titan FC 29 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place on Aug. 22, 2014 at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
That's according to a report from MMA Fighting.
Riddle (8-3, 2 NC) won his Titan FC debut with a submission win over Michael Kuiper last February in Kansas City. Saunders (16-6-2), meanwhile, hasn't been seen since getting put away by Douglas Lima under the Bellator MMA banner back in September.
That's not all.
Fellow Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veterans Vinny Magalhaes and Jason Brilz will once again try to cross paths, this time for the 205-pound strap, at the Titan FC 30 event on Sept. 26, 2014 at the Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
Magalhaes (10-7) parted ways with UFC following consecutive losses to Phil Davis and Anthony Perosh. He could be the best light heavyweight jiu-jitsu fighter in the sport, which may be problematic for a wrestler like Brilz (22-5-1). "The Hitman" was bounced from UFC after losing three in a row, but has since rebounded with four straight.
They were supposed to hook 'em up earlier this year, until this awful thing happened.
