Latest UFC rankings/MMA rankings (flyweight), June 2014: 'Mouse' tops 125-pound triangle anchored by Dodson and Benavidez

The SB Nation crew has tallied the votes and come up with the 10 best flyweight fighters in mixed martial arts (MMA) to close out the month of June 2014. And it doesn't look much different, thanks to the recent UFC 174 main event.

Thanks to victories at UFC 174 and UFC Fight Night 42, respectively, Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson are still the two best flyweight fighters in the world.

The only thing separating them is 125 pounds of gold.

That, and a unanimous decision win "Mighty Mouse" holds over "The Magician" in early 2013, though Dodson has a chance to get one back later this year if this plan comes to fruition.

If so, he'll no longer be deadlocked at No. 2 with Joseph Benavidez, who also picked up a couple of second place votes, thanks to a submission win over Tim Elliot at UFC 172 last April. Unfortunately, "Joe Jitsu" holds two losses to Johnson, including one by knockout.

Now let's take a look at the rest of the mixed martial arts (MMA) flyweight field, sorted by the SB Nation rankings panel -- compiled by, MMA Fighting and Bloody Elbow -- to close out the month of June.

1. Demetrious Johnson
2. Joseph Benavidez
2. John Dodson
4. Ian McCall
5. Ali Bagautinov
6. John Lineker
7. John Moraga
7. Zack Machovsky
9. Jussier da Silva
10. Brad Pickett
