GLORY, the world's premier kickboxing league, will keep its North American momentum rolling this Saturday night (June 21, 2014) inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., with an eight-man, one-night middleweight world championship tournament, as well as a heavyweight headliner that will feature Rico Verhoeven running it back against Daniel Ghita with the strap on the line (see the entire fight card here).
And that's after an already-insane GLORY 17 line up of elite kickboxing bouts, including the rematch between Mirko Cro Cop and Jarrell Miller, beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
MMAmania.com is once again hopping on board the red-hot kickboxing train and giving away a boatload of gear (hat, shorts, t-shirts, etc.), which includes official GLORY-branded merchandise -- as well as a few other goodies -- to one lucky reader. In addition, longtime fight sport supporter and GLORY sponsor, HeadBlade, is stepping up to the plate, giving away its revolutionary ATX All Terrain razor to the smartest predictor of the bunch. That could be you!
Here's how to play:
1. Predict the tournament winners (as well as the main event) IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW, all of which will air live on the "Last Man Standing" pay-per-view (PPV) this Saturday night at 10 p.m. ET:
- Joe Schilling vs. Simon Marcus
- Wayne Barrett vs. Bogdan Stoica
- Filip Verlinden vs. Melvin Manhoef
- Artem Levin vs. Alex Pereira
- Tournament Semifinalist vs. Tournament Semifinalist
- Tournament Semifinalist vs. Tournament Semifinalist
- Tournament Finalist vs. Tournament Finalist
- Rico Verhoeven vs. Daniel Ghita (Tie Breaker)
That's eight total picks for all the math wizards who want to participate. Therefore, contest entries in the COMMENTS SECTION BELOW should look something like this example: Pereira, Marcus, Barrett, Manhoef, Pereira, Barrett, Pereira, Ghita.
2. Repost this link on Facebook and/or retweet on Twitter, including @GLORY_WS and @HeadBlade with the hashtag #GLORYMANIA.
Social shares (Twitter or Facebook), therefore, should look something like this example (feel free to copy and paste): I just entered #GLORYMANIA thanks to @GLORY_WS & @HeadBlade RT http://sbn.to/1kZ1ndT
3. Win!
One entry per reader ... so make it count! That's it. Easy, right?
For a primer on GLORY: "Last Man Standing" PPV be sure to check out our recent post where we meet the talented middleweight field right here.
Not into playing games or a social media diva? No problem. Trump all these trolls right now and shave the GLORY logo in your head and post it below. I'm told those who accept the challenge will win the "world's sickest HeadBlade package."
Follow this fine gentleman's example:
It's summer; time for a shave anyway. Plus, it grows back.
Anyway, be sure to get your contest picks in -- OR GLORY LOGOS SHAVED -- as soon as possible because the contest ends this Saturday night.
Good luck!
