Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in action TONIGHT (Sat., June 14, 2014) with its UFC 174: "Johnson vs. Bagautinov" pay-per-view (PPV) event from inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with "Prelims" bouts on Fight Pass and FX channel.
Yes, FX, as FOX Sports 1 has previous scheduling commitments.
As the name would suggest, UFC 174 will be headlined by flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, as he puts his 125-pound title on the line against division number one contender Ali Bagautinov. In the co-main event, Tyron Woodley looks to upset hometown hero Rory MacDonald in a race to the top of the welterweight mountain.

Round 1: DJ starts with an inside low kick. Johnson on the front foot. Another one at the one-minute mark. Ali with a counter right after a low kick. Ali lands a body kick. DJ avoids a combination. Another low kick from Mighty Mouse. Two minutes in. DJ changes levels, avoids an uppercut. Lots of feinting at range. DJ backsteps away from some hooks. Ali tries to counter a leg kick with a takedown but they clinch. Ali pressing DJ against the cage. Two minutes to go. Johnson gets the plum, lands a couple knees. Ali catches the leg as he does so, can't do anything with it. More knees by DJ. Ali catches another leg, again can't makes use of it. Short right hand from Bagautinov. One minute to go. Hard right hand from Ali after a DJ knee. DJ reverses position against the fence. Hard knees from DJ. Ali reverses but gets caught in the plum, eating a few knees before taking DJ down late. Round 1: Feijao starts with an inside low kick. Bader falls short with a left hook. Bader high kick blocked. Bader shoots in and briefly gets Feijao down; Feijao uses the fence to stand but Bader has the rear waistlock. Knees to the butt from Bader. He lifts Feijao but can't keep him down. More knees to the butt. Ninety seconds in. Bader repeatedly tripping Feijao down, but the Brazilian getting up quickly. Bader continuing to work the thighs, lands an elbow as Feijao exits. Round 2: Feijao moving forward, lands a spinning back kick. Bader high kick blocked and Feijao stuffs a double leg. Feijao falls short on a right, moves into the clinch. They separate, then Bader does the same. They split up soon after. Ninety seconds in. Lead left from Bader and he completes a double leg against the cage. Two minutes in. Feijao on one knee, Bader kneeing the rear. Feijao explodes up and they separate. Two minutes to go. Feijao whiffs on a left hook, Bader lands a right. Feijao comes up short again with a right. Low kick from Andrei. Two minutes in. They clinch up and Andrei again pushes him against the fence. Knees from both. They separate without anything dramatic happening. Two minutes to go. Nice left hook by Schaub. Overhand right is blocked. Oblique kick from Andrei and he attempts an outside trip with no success. One minute to go. Andrei falls short with a right. Andrei ducks an overhand and moves Schaub to the cage yet again. Knees again, nothing too devastating. Andrei lands a short right on the exit. Andrei easily stuffs a takedown before the bell. 10-9 Arlovksi.
Round 2: Schaub jab, Arlovksi lands an inside low kick that catches cup. Brief pause for Brendan's nuts. Both whiff on punches. Schaub lands a glancing overhand right. Arlovski lands a right to the body and they return to the position in which they spent most of the first round. They separate around ninety seconds in. Schaub narrowly misses with an overhand right. Round 1: Kunimoto low kick. Another. Sarafian buzzes him with a right-left combo. Another low kick by Strasser. One minute in. Kunimoto presses him against the cage in a takedown attempt. Kunimoto has the bodylock. Sarafian staying on his feet so far. After a minute of work, Kunimoto trips him down and establishes in guard. Sarafian controlling the head with a guillotine after Kunimoto passes to half guard. Side control now; Sarafian gives up his back trying to escape and Kunimoto quickly locks up the RNC. Sarafian taps and the biggest underdog on the card outside the main event has scored the upset. Great work by Kunimoto.

Round 1: Phillips moving forward early, moves Valerie into the cage. Letourneau cracks her with a knee and exits. Stiff jab from Phillips. Phillips high kick blocked, as is Letourneau's answer. Good 1-2 by Phillips. One minute in. Letourneau inside low kick. Hard straight by Phillips; she tries to press the advantage, eats a couple punches for her trouble. Hard right hand by Phillips. Nice right by Letourneau; both women landing good punches. Front kick by Phillips, counter right hand. They trade punches in center cage. Another big right hand by Elizabeth. Two minutes in. Phillips' pressure working well. 1-2 lands. Letourneau landing jabs, but unable to maintain distance. Another 1-2 by Letourenau. Phillips tries to shoot in, misses wide. Two minutes to go. Another good exchange inside. Again; both landing well. Phillips low kick. Letourneau high kick blocked. One minute to go. Uppercut from Letourneau. INside low kick by Letournaeu, Phillips moves her to the cage. Letourneau controls her head well and they separate. Good right by Phillips. High kick is blocked; Letourneau rocks her with one of her own and they end the round swinging. 10-9 Phillips.
Round 2: Letourneau's left eye is swollen something awful.
Letourneau lands a good uppercut and cross. Front kick to the face by Phillips, Letourneau tries and fails to score a takedown. Phillips right hand. Letourneau lands another cross, Phillips moves her to the cage. One minute in. Phillips has one underhook. Letourneau briefly looks for a Kimura grip. Letourneau knees the body and escapes off a failed takedown attempt. Phillips low kick and they trade right hands. Two minutes in. ANother uppercut by Letourneau. Letourneau maintaining range much better this round. Nice exchange, Letourneau gets the better of it. Letourneau uppercut, Phillips overhand right. Once again. Two minutes to go. Round 3: Phillips moves in with a takedown attempt, eats a knee for her trouble. Punching exchange, Letourneau wins. Hard elbow by Letourneau and she's pouring it on. Phillips firing back. Another right by Letourneau. One minute in. Letourneau landing that uppercut at will at this point. Letourneau with a four-punch combination. Phillips moves her to the cage once again. Letourneau knees the body. Two minutes in. Phillips landing sporadic knees as Phillips tries to get the bodylock. Valerie lands a brief trip and an elbow before they separate. Letourneau body kicks. Two minutes to go. Letourneau cross and she's slipping Phillips' right hands. Phillips steps in with long punches. Good exchange in center cage. Letourneau's jab connecting. One minute to go. Round 1: Both throwing jabs, neither connecting. Easton takes a finger in the eye while throwing a combo. Both miss with haymakers. Right to the body by Easton and a good leg kick. Jabouin jab, overhand right by Easton. Easton in pursuit with big shots and hurts Jabouin with a right hand. Jabouin takes him down into butterfly guard. One minute in. Easton controlling posture. Easton using the butterfly hooks to move Jabouin around, can't get up and takes an elbow. Two minutes in. Easton scoots to the cage and uses it to stand. Jabouin with double underhooks against the cage. Easton knees the body. Jabouin trips him down, can't keep him there and lands a knee to the body before they separate. Back to the clinch. Easton knees the body but gets reversed on a takedown attempt. Two minutes to go. Jabouin heavy on top but inactive. Easton with wrist control, eats a good elbow and makes enough room to stand. Round 1: Counter right by Bang, Johnson lands one of his own in the same exchange. Head kick glances off of Bang, leading to a scramble. Bang cracks him with a couple punches as Johnson regains his balance. One minute in. Johnson shoots in and completes a single-leg. Johnson in side control, Bang clinging to a guillotine grip on the opposite side. Bang uses it to flip him over and he holds the front headlock until Johnson stands. Both land right hands. Good exchanges in center cage. Two minutes in. Head kick blocked from Johnson and Bang drops him hard with a left hook. Johnson shoots in; he nearly completes it but Bang sprawls gets the front headlock. Quick scramble when Bang tries to take his back and they return to their feet. Johnson lands a knee to the body and a strong right straight. Johnson moves in and completes a trip into side control. Bang controlling the forearms, manages to stand at the bell. 10-9 Bang.
Round 2: Teep from Johnson. Head kick blocked. Leg kick lands. Both land jabs. Whiffed exchange. Counter straight by Kajan connects. One minute in. Johnson pops him with a jab each to the head and body. Overhand right lands for Bang and he sprawls on a takedown. Another right gets Johnson's attention and prompts a takedown attempt. He completes it, but Bang uses the same guillotine reversal to get on top in half guard. Halfway through the round, Bang landing some ground-and-pound. Johnson turns for a heel hook, Bang escapes but Johnson tries a calf slicer. Bang again gets out and Johnson gets the body lock. Johnson pops him with a right and takes him down into side control, Bang again holding onto the guillotine. Bang gets to his feet quickly. Both men bleeding, Bang moreso. Johnson jabbing. One minute to go. Bang whiffs on a spinning backfist and looks bushed. Bang throws a couple of tired-looking kicks at the bell. 10-9 Johnson.
Round 3: Counter right hand by Bang makes Johson slip. Another one connects. One minute in. Johnson high kick blocked. Johnson ducks a punch, Bang denies the takedown. Johnson jab. Counter right and head kick by Johnson, but Bang puts him to sleep with a huge overhand right while off-balance. They fall together, but Big John recognizes that it's over. Hell of a shot by the Korean.

135 lbs.: Roland Delorme vs. Michinori Tanaka
Round 1: Tanaka circling quite a bit. Lead right by Delorme just misses. He tries to rush, does not connect. Leg kick from Tanaka, who looks much smaller than Delorme. One minute in. Tanaka rushes in, but does not commit to the takedown. Good right hand by Delorme knocks Tanaka down and Delorme hops into mount. Delorme goes for the back and Tanaka reverses quickly into guard. Two minutes in. Delorme working for a triangle. Tanaka puts his arm back between the legs and drops a punch. Delorme works towards the cage and briefly threatens another triangle. Short elbows from Tanaka. Three minutes in. Delorme trying to use the cage to stand but Tanaka doing a good job keeping him down. Short punches by Tanaka connect. Elbows as well. One minute to go. Tanaka moves Deorme away from the cage, Delorme locks up a wrist. Tanaka breaks the grip and just misses with a big right hand. Tanaka ends the round on top with punches. 10-9 Tanaka.
Round 2: Nice right hand by Tanaka early. He briefly slips, then cracks Delorme with a cross counter. Delorme trying to wave him on. One minute in. Tanaka slips a right hand and avoids a left hook. Tanaka shoots in, can't get it but presses Delorme against the cage. Delorme tries to maneuver him into position for a knee but Tanaka uses it to trip him down. Tanaka on top in full guard against the cage. Two minutes in. Tanaka with some body-body-head and again turns Delorme away from the fence. Good lefts by Tanaka. He hops into half guard. Two minutes to go. Quick scramble, Tanaka stays on top of him. He hops straight to mount from half guard. Delorme regains half guard as Tanaka tries to get an arm-triangle. Delorme's cut. Tanaka landing punches and elbows. One minute to go. Delorme is active off his back, just unable to budge Tanaka, who's still dropping elbows. Round ends, 10-9 Tanaka.
Round 3: Tanaka still circling. Delorme unable to close the distance. Body kick from Tanaka is blocked. One minute in. Tanaka shoots in, nearly takes his back standing but settles for a throw into half guard. Delorme flips him over, Tanaka stays attached to him and takes side control. Quick scramble and Delorme takes top position. Side control, now mount. Two minutes in. Tanaka again reverses into guard. Delorme looks for a triangle, Tanaka snuffs it out. Punches from Tanaka. Two minutes to go. Delorme trying to get free, gives up half guard. Nice elbows by Anaka. Tanaka takes mount as Delorme tries to turn into him. Delorme quickly hip escapes into half guard. One minute to go, Tanaka continuing to drop punches whenever Delorme tries to improve position. Hard right hand as Delorme tries to stand. Delorme makes it to his feet, Tanaka takes him right back down and drops punches on him against the cage. Tanaka trying for a rear-naked choke in the waning seconds, can't lock it in. 10-9 Tanaka.
Final result: Tanaka def. Delorme by unanimous decision

155 lbs.: Jason Saggo vs. Josh Shockley
Round 1: Shockley looks like Jonathan Brookins' hippie-er brother.
Saggo starts out flicking out kicks. Shockley tries to rush, falls short. Saggo takes a teep and shoots in. Saggo can't finish the single and moves to the bodylock, tossing the big man down into side control. One minute in. Saggo pops into mount and Shockley quickly regains butterfly guard. He nearly kicks his way free but Saggo stays on him. Shockley gives up his back rolling away but again regains butterfly. Shockley throwing his legs up and tries to get up, giving up side control. Two minutes in and Saggo is back in mount. Shockley gets a knee shield in and works back to half guard. Not much GnP. Saggo passes to side, Shockley uses the pass to stand up and get a bodylock against the fence. Shockley with some knees to the legs and body. Over-under control against the cage. Ninety seconds to go and Saggo hits an inside trip. Saggo on top in half guard, drops a good punch. Stands to pass, settles for getting back into half guard. Shockley once again gives up his back turning into him before rolling back into half guard. Saggo takes mount and the back. Saggo with thirty seconds to work and dropping punches. Shockley turning from mount to back trying to wriggle free, but settles for simply covering his head as Saggo pounds away. Referee warns Shockley to improve position and stops it when he doesn't comply. Excellent work by Saggo.
Final result: Saggo def. Shockley by TKO (punches)
