Video: Amateur MMA fighter taps out to save his opponent!

PCFL

The above video shows amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Mike Pantangco tapping out against Jeremy Raser at last month's PCFL: "Uprising" event, because he didn't want to inflict any more damage on his clearly-outmatched flyweight opponent.

From his conversation with Inside MMA (via MMA Fighting):

"I just feel that there's no point fighting him because he didn't train against me and I didn't train for him and I just feel like we're amateur fighters. We don't get money. We don't get paid and I know that the only thing I'm going to finish him to go in the hospital or get hurt. I just feel terrible so I'm just going to give him the win."

Pantangco moves to 5-1 with the loss, which in the court of public opinion, is probably a win. Here's a fun fact: PCFL stands for Prison City Fight League. See what they're all about here.
