Former Strikeforce featherweight contender Gina Carano may have been idle for the past five years -- at least in terms of her mixed martial arts (MMA) career -- but that hasn't stopped her from outperforming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey.
Or "Rowdy's" arch nemesis, Miesha Tate.
"Conviction" landed at No. 39 in the Maxim "Hot 100" list for 2014, just three spots ahead of Rousey (No. 42), who appeared topless in the magazine's Sept. 2013 issue (see the pics here). "Cupcake," meanwhile, failed to crack the top 50 (despite this), sitting pretty at No. 58.
Rousey (and her karma) can next be seen defending her 135-pound strap against Alexis Davis at the UFC 175 pay-per-view (PPV) event over Fourth of July Weekend (more on that here). Carano has not yet committed to her MMA return, but if and when she does, Tate will be waiting.
