New name, new owners, same exciting competition! As of today, TV personalities Cyrus Fees and Casey Oxendine have assumed ownership of the Russian product HIP SHOW, branding it HIP SHOW ARENA COMBAT INTERNATIONAL.
Coupled with the ownership and name change, Fees and Oxendine are announcing plans for their first American event in the Summer of 2014. Date, venue, and card information will be available in the coming weeks. American events will be under the HIP SHOW ARENA COMBAT: USA brand. Currently, negotiations are active for the company's network deal for
episodic and live events.
Fees and Oxendine are the hosts of the nationally syndicated combat sports news show, "MMA: Inside the Cage" on, and internationally acclaimed for their commentary work. Between the two, they've worked with top international shows such as XFC International, SuperKombat Fighting Championship, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship, Australian Fighting Championship, Contender Promotions, and Combat8.
"Arena Combat is simply the most exciting combat sport on the planet, today. Twenty years ago, a new sport entered the mainstream as mixed martial arts. Now's the time for Arena Combat to do the same!" said Casey Oxendine, CEO of HIP SHOW ARENA COMBAT INTERNATIONAL.
"This was a well-thought out investment for myself and Casey. America and American fighters are ready for something innovative. That something is Arena Combat." said Cyrus Fees, who will now act as President of HIP SHOW ARENA COMBAT INTERNATIONAL.
