UFC Fight Night 40 payouts and salaries: Matt Brown edges Ed Herman as Cincy's king of cash

UFC Fight Night 40 is in the books and payouts and salaries are in the checkbooks. Here's a complete list of last Saturday night's (May 10, 2014) earnings for all the fighters competing at the "Brown vs. Silva" FOX Sports 1-televised event in Cincinnati.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be writing a few checks now that UFC Fight Night 40 is in the books, as it's time to pay those fighters who competed at the "Brown vs. Silva" mixed martial arts (MMA) event last Saturday night (May 10, 2014) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Some handsomely, others ... well, they got paid.

Leading the list of payouts in "Immortal" welterweight Matt Brown, who scored $82,000 for beating the brakes off Erick Silva ($22,000). That's just a smidgen higher than fellow Ultimate Fighter (TUF) guy Ed Herman, who cashes an $80,000 check for outpointing Rafael Natal
