Boxing's first true blockbuster fight of 2014 arrives a week from Saturday night (April 12, 2014) as pound-for-pound legend Manny Pacquiao once again takes on unbeaten Timothy Bradley, who controversially edged "Pac-Man" on the scorecards in their 2012 showdown.
The two last did battle in June of 2012 in a fight where Bradley, though outclassed in the eyes of many ringside observers, took home a questionable split decision that led to a considerable amount of outrage and put both men's futures in limbo.
Since then, both pugilists have fought twice.
Manny attempted to bounce back from his first defeat in over seven years at the expense of old rival Juan Manuel Marquez, only to suffer a shocking one-punch knockout loss (see it here). He rebounded this past November, outclassing Brandon Rios in Macau.
Bradley followed the Pacquiao fight with an absolute war against one of the latter's training partners, Russian bruiser Ruslan Provodnikov, and managed to edge out a win. He then defeated the aforementioned Marquez by split decision.
With a rematch of this magnitude, HBO's media team have been firing on all cylinders. Enjoy their compilation of some of Pacquiao's most memorable moments, from his star-making destruction of Lehlo Ledwaba to his excellent series of battles against Erik Morales and Marquez to his upset of Oscar De La Hoya to his recent travails.
MMAmania.com will have LIVE coverage of the April 12th event, which you can purchase via pay-per-view. Until then, we'll also have all the previews and assorted pre-fight pageantry you could ever need.
