UFC 172 results: Jim Miller sleeps Yancy Medeiros

And celebrated while Medeiros was sleeping on top of him.

The lightweights were in action on the main card of tonight's (Sat., April 26, 2014) UFC 172: "Jones vs. Teixeira" pay-per-view (PPV) from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, as perennial contender Jim Miller took on the unheralded but dangerous Yancy Medeiros.

This one didn't last long.

That's because Miller absolutely blitzed Medeiros, hurting him with a body shot mid-way through the opening frame and following up with a guillotine choke. It took a while to put Yancy away with it -- the Hawaiian battled hard to fight his way out -- but eventually he went out.

Miller celebrated from his back while Medeiros was sleeping on top of him.

That gives the New Jersey native 13 wins in the UFC at 155-pounds. What's next?

Stay tuned.
