UFC Quick Quote: Jon Jones will only fight Phil Davis on EA Sports UFC video game

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Phil Davis sure is trying his hardest to pick a fight against the champ.

"We know Jon Jones won't take a fight against me. The only way it'll happen will be on EA Sports UFC."

You can now add Phil Davis to the list of people -- which includes Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson -- who Jon Jones is supposedly avoiding inside the Octagon. That's according to "Mr. Wonderful" himself, who declared during today's (April 24, 2014) Ultimate Media Day (via UFC's Twitter) that the only way "Bones" will accept a fight against him is in the digital world. Specifically, the upcoming EA Sports UFC video game, which hits stores on June 17, 2014. Davis took Jones to task during the recent media call (listen here), promising to break him like a "sugar cookie." Comments which "Bones" downplayed by saying all Phil was doing was embarrassing himself by focusing on him and not Anthony Johnson, whom Davis meets at this weekend's (April 26, 2014) UFC 172 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Baltimore, Maryland. So, fire up those game consoles, fight fans, because that's the only way your ever going to see Jones vs. Davis, according to "Mr. Wonderful."
