ROAD FC 15 postponed following national ferry tragedy in South Korea


All matches for ROAD FC 15 have been moved from May 10 to May 31 in Wonju, including the main event rematch between Seo Doo-Hwan and Joachim Hansen.

ROAD Fighting Championship will postpone ROAD FC 15 while the country of South Korea reels from the national ferry disaster.

A somber mood blankets all of South Korea following the capsizing of the ferry Sewol, which was bound from Seoul to Jeju and carrying hundreds of high school students. The entire country solemnly abides the recovery process in regards to those lost in or affected by this tragic incident.

Amidst this national tragedy, the festivities of ROAD FC 015 will be postponed from the original date of 10 May to a future date of 31 May.

ROAD FC is thankful for the cooperation and understanding of all fighters in their agreement of the postponement. We humbly request the continued support of fans both at home and abroad as the nation - which includes ROAD FC staff and ROAD FC fighters - collectively recovers.

All matches for ROAD FC 015 are confirmed for the new date of 31 May in Wonju, including the rematch between Seo Doo-Hwan and Joachim Hansen as the Main Event.

UFC veteran Issei Tamura will meet former ONE FC Champion Kim Soo-Chul, Park Jung-Kyo will take on Minowaman, and international star Riki Fukuda will face Son Hye-Seok.
