UFC 175: Wanderlei Silva labels Chael Sonnen a 'racist' who doesn't deserve respect

Silva breaking out the R-word ahead of his Fourth of July Weekend showdown.

The sooner these two get this fight over with, the better.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight and The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Brazil 3" coach Wanderlei Silva is still sore over his frequent run-ins with fellow combat sports reality show coach Chael Sonnen, who gave "The Axe Murderer" a sneak peek of their UFC 175 co-main event when they scuffled on set.

See video of their TUF brawl here.

Now that filming has wrapped, Silva has asked his fellow countrymen to band together against the "racist," who has a history of bad-mouthing Brazilian opponents (samples here and here).

From Wandy's Instagram (via MMA Fighting):

"This guy is a racist and he doesn't deserve our respect. I wouldn't be mad (at him) if I had no reasons to be. This is just one of the things he said about us. Now, if you want to cheer for him be my guest, you deserve my respect. I don't agree with him and I think we should be united this time. We're stronger together."

They were originally expected to throw down on May 31 in Brazil, but the fight had to be postponed, thanks to this "disgusting" incident.

The fight has been re-booked for UFC 175 on July 5, 2014, inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada (we think) and will hopefully bring closure to a feud that has lasted years. Unless, of course, there is some sort of screwy finish which leads to a rematch.

Then we get to (shudder) do this all over again.
