Werdum earned a takedown to start the round. Browne got back to his feet quickly, however, and started in on the front kicks. He knocked Alistair Overeem out with one, why not push one here?
Werdum had the energy to avoid everything Browne was offering, though. Not only that, he was answering back with a few punches of his own.

Not very exciting, but incredibly effective considering the situation. Werdum was minimizing risk while scoring points. Browne's face showed the wear of the shots Fabricio had unloaded on him throughout the bout.
"Hapa" threw a low kick and almost collapsed underneath his own weight. With 90 seconds remaining, he was all but finished.
The round closed with little meaningful action and the decision was clear.
