Browne looked a little fresher to start the fourth but not by much. Werdum was hanging back and jumping in with occasional punches. They were both moving so slow at this point, Browne due to fatigue and Werdum deliberately.
They got a break in the action when Browne landed a front kick to the cup and the Brazilian took his time recovering.
Once they reset in the center, Browne had a second wind and was unleashing punches with zest. He also worked some low leg kicks, though they weren't doing much good.
An overhand right looked good, though.
So did a couple high kicks, though both failed to connect clean.
Werdum came in with a combination but couldn't get home, even falling down in the process. Browne was too far back and too pressed for oxygen to rush in to capitalize.
On to round five.
