Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in action on Wednesday night (April 16, 2014) for its latest and greatest Fight Pass and FOX Sports 1-televised mixed martial arts (MMA) event, headlined by middleweight contender Michael Bisping as he battles Strikeforce import Tim Kennedy.

The action gets underway at 3 p.m. ET inside Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

In addition to the headliner, this week's UFC event will feature the finals of the "Nations" combat sports reality show in both the welterweight and middleweight divisions, while the respective coaches, Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke, throw down in 170-pound action.

Round 1: Head kick misses by Bisping. Kennedy goes for the single leg. Bisping goes down. Kennedy keeping him down, and flattens out Bisping. Kennedy trying to mount. Bisping looking bored. Kennedy in side control. Punches by Kennedy once he postures up. Bisping trying to get back to his feet. Kennedy keeps him down. Kennedy in side control, using his punches. Kennedy is mounted. Bisping gives his back. Kennedy back in side control. Kennedy lands a few elbows to close it out.

Round 2: Head kick attempt by Bisping, who mixes it up with additional kicks. Kennedy just misses with a wild right. Kennedy lands a kick to the body. Bisping trying to surprise the American with kicks. Bisping lands a left jab. A good right hand from Bisping. Big right hand from Kennedy. Head kick by Kennedy but it gets partially checked. Kennedy eats a weak kick to the head, and gets a takedown stuffed. Bisping with a nice combination. Kennedy works a single and drags him to the fence. Kennedy relentless with pressure, and Bisping survives it. Flying knee by Bisping gets blocked. Right hand by Bisping, followed by a left. They're slowing it down now. Bisping with a big left hook. Bisping working his combinations better, and Kennedy is baiting Bisping into his right hand.

Round 3: Bisping lands a pretty good uppercut. Huge right hand from Kennedy and he takes Bisping down. Kennedy doing well in side control and on the mat in general, dominating Bisping on the ground. Punches from side control by Kennedy. Bisping locks the arm, trying a kimura. Kennedy straitens out his arm and escapes. Kennedy going to the body. Kennedy doing a good job of keeping Bisping down. Kennedy in mount once again. Kennedy smothering Bisping thus far. Bisping trying to get up, but he can't find an answer for Kennedy on the ground.

Round 4: Big right just misses by Kennedy. They exchange leg kicks. Some nice shots by Bisping, but Kennedy shoots once again. He takes Bisping's back standing up, and he's making it gritty. Bisping escapes. Bisping trying to come forward, and Kennedy is keeping him at bay. Bisping lands a good jab. Uppercut from Bisping lands, but Kennedy answers with a right hand. Kennedy staggers Bisping with a right hand, and then shoots. Bisping neutralizes, and they're back to trading punches. Left hook by Kennedy. Nice combination lands from Bisping. Right hand clocks Bisping, and Kennedy shoots instead of taking him down. Cut is opened up on Kennedy's nose. Big right hand from Kennedy again. Kick to the body from Kennedy.

Round 5: Jab from Kennedy. Nice right hand from Bisping. Kennedy goes to the body. Big takedown from Kennedy. Bisping can't get to his feet. Kennedy in full guard, and Bisping looks a bit discouraged with his hands up. Kennedy is in side control. Bisping asks to be stood up, and it actually happens. Kennedy shoots for a single, but it gets stuffed. Bisping lands with a kick to the body. Nice combination from Bisping. Kennedy with a right hand. Kennedy with a nice left hook. Another jab from Kennedy, followed by a right hand. Bisping still has some left in the tank, but Kennedy is still game to throw punches. Bisping with a head kick and Bisping gets a nice left hook in. Bisping lands a left hook, and it's all done.

Final result: Kennedy def. Bisping by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45)

170 lbs.: Patrick Cote vs. Kyle Noke

Round 1: Groin shot opens us up. Some nice kicks by Noke. Noke kicks to the body and follows up with a nice punch. They're duking it out. Cote takes down Noke and follows up with some elbows in the ground and pound. Cote postures up from side control into full guard. He's working the ground and pound nicely. Noke threatens with a triangle, but Cote fights it off and stays dominant in the guard. He blasts Noke with a few elbows. All Cote on the ground. He hits Noke with punches and elbows to the head until the horn.

Round 2: Big knee from Noke seconds in. Cote is staggered and Noke is going for the finish. Cote keeps slugging, and recovers well. Cote keeping active with the jab. Noke can't put him away with power shots. Cote takes him down again. He softens him up with ground and pound. Noke is back up and eats a huge knee from Cote. He crouches down, and takes another. Noke recovers well, putting the action to the center. They engage in a little bit of a muay thai battle to close out the round.

Round 3: Cote pushes Noke to the cage. Noke keeping active with leg kicks. Noke switches up his kicks. Cote looking for some big punches. Cote goes for the takedown. They're clinched up against the fence. They break free, and Cote pushes with the jab. Noke with some really flashy kicks. Cote still presses with punches. He gets the takedown. Cote in guard, and smothers Noke on the ground. Cote still in guard. Noke trying for the escape, but can't get it. Cote smothering him still, not letting him up. Noke is frustrated with the lack of punches.

Final result: Patrick Cote def. Kyle Noke via unanimous decision (29-28x2, 30-27)

185 lbs.: Elias Theodorou vs. Sheldon Westcott

Round 1: Westcott comes out furiously. He gets the takedown and secures the back. He's attacking with a rear-naked choke. Theodorou stands up with his foe on his back. He shakes him off, and starts to pummel him on the ground. Westcott shoots, but eats a couple of knees. Westcott looking for the takedown but Theorodou is defending well. He gets it, but does nothing and the rest stands them up. Theodorou lands a nice combo, with a wicked right. Westcott looking for the takedown but Theo is pummelling him whenever he shoots.

Round 2: Westcott comes out swining but Theodorou takes him down. Theo scoops him up and slams him. He follows with punches but Westcott is back up. Theo gets another slam takedown. Theodorou then gets a slam takedown. Westcott attacking with a choke but Theo powers and scoops him up for another takedown. The ref stands them up. Theodorou laces Westcptt with a nice right hand, followed by a left. Theodorou gets the takedown, and he's grounding and pounding him away. Elbows from side control and punches to the side of the head. Theo gets up and storms him with punches. Westcott looks about done. Theo goes back to the ground, laces him with some elbows and the ref steps in.

Final result: Theodorou def. Westcott by TKO (punches) at 4:41 at round 2.

170 lbs.: Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Chad Laprise

Round 1: Mercier with a head kick. Lowkicks from Laprise. The exchange jabs, and Mercier goes high with another head kick. Mercier goes for a takedown but Laprise defends well. Huge right hand from Laprise. Mercier staying active with punches but gets another takedown stuffed. Jab by Laprise. Kick to the body by Mercier. Laprise goes to the body. Mercier with a left hand but nice kick to the body from Laprise.

Round 2: Mercier more active in the opening round. Mercier gets stuffed. Mercier with the takedown now. Guillotine attempt, but Laprise gets back up easily. Punch to the body by Laprise. Kick to the body by Mercier. Mercier with a few punches but Laprise clocks him with a few right hands. Laprise with a nice right Good jab from Mercier. Laprise closes the round with flashy kicks.

Round 3: Takedown by Mercier but Laprise pushes him off with his feet. Mercier with a good right hand. Laprise with the slip. Good combo from Laprise. Laprise working the jab, really looking good on the feet. Laprise clocks him with a nice right hand and avoids the takedown. Mercier lands an uppercut. Mercier with a kick, but Laprise decks him with a combo and starts to pummel him with jabs and right hands. Spinning kick to the body by Laprise. He closes out the fight perfectly.

Final result: Laprise def. Aubin-Mercier by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 30-27)

145 lbs.: Dustin Poirier vs. Akira Corassani

Round 1: Akira opens up with a right hand. They start to trade punches, with Poirier hitting him with a stiff jab. Akira goes to the body, and then the top. Poirier lands the nice jab, and follows up with a combo. Akira clocks him with a combo. Poirier with another jab. Poirier working his jab well, while Akira is looking for big head shots. Akira blasts Poirier and hurts him with a straight right. Poirier is on wobbly legs. He maintains composure, and Akira eats a right hand. Left hook lands by Akira. Akira lands yet another right hand after going to the body. Jab lands by Poirier, who switches his stance and backs up Akira with a left hand. Uppercut misses by Poirier, and they're slugging it out in the center. Big right hand lands by Akira. Poirier catches Akira in a d'arce choke as Akira shoots in, and Poirier switches to a Peruvian neck tie. Akira storms out and lands a big knee. Akira is bloodied and this is a hell of a scrap.

Final result: Poirier def. Corassani by TKO (punches) at 0:42 of round two.

155 lbs.: K.J. Noons vs. Sam Stout

Round 1: They trade leg kicks for like, 20 seconds. Nice punch from Stout. KJ Noons lands a devastating right hand which drops Stout. Noons follows up and Stout is out cold. The ref calls it, and Stout tries to get back to his feet, crumbling back to the floor. Stout even puts the ref in a headlock once it's done. Good Lord.

Final result: Noons def. Stout by knockout (punches) at 0:30 of round one.

135 lbs.: Sarah Kaufman vs. Leslie Smith

Round 1: They start trading fast, with Smith throwing hella punches. Kaufman is a little crisper, and Smith brings her against the cage. Knee by Kaufman in the clinch. Kaufman drops Smith with a leg kick, as the former was off balance. They're throwing all kinds of punches at each other, and this is great so far. Kaufman is more technical, while Smith is throwing caution to the wind. Clinch work by both against the cage, with knees from both. Foot stomps by Smith. They're back in the center, and Kaufman lands a nice right hand. This is a very scrappy fight. Smith powers Kaufman to the cage. They break free, and Kaufman decks her with a right hand and an inside leg kick. Smith eats an uppercut and lands a beauty of a left hook. Nice elbow by Kaufman. Smith tangles her up against the cage. Big right hand from Kaufman wobbles Smith. They're exchanging in a flurry again. Kaufman tosses Smith, and cracks her with a combo. Smith has to back up a bit, but she's still there for the trading.

Round 2: Smith storms out and lands a few nice blows. Her punches are better strung together, until Kaufman clinches her up and controls her posture. Some clinch work from Kaufman, and they break free. Kaufman lands a nice combo on the inside. Kaufman keeping Smith at bay and keeps her punches more technical. Smith lands a jab and a sweet head kick, but it doesn't faze the Canadian. Another flurry, with Kaufman landing the better right hands while missing her lefts. Smith not connecting well. Jab by Kaufman. Combinations landing by Kaufman because she's getting there first. Nice kick to the body from the Canuck, while Smith lands a kick to the body. Smith goes for the takedown. Head lock from Kaufman. Smith doing a good job of keeping Kaufman against the fence and landing some good elbows.

Round 3: Kaufman clinches, and Smith lands a nice jab. Smith is definitely a little more ferocious and you can tell she wants it. Kaufman with a good punch. Kaufman really pressuring Smith in the third round. Smith has the clinch, and she's continuously going forward. Uppercut from Kaufman as they get to the center. Kaufman moving her head better, while Smith is eating a lot of jabs. Huge right hand lands for Kaufman, and Leslie looks tired. Kaufman drives Smith to the cage once more. They separate, and Kaufman is continuously landing that right hand. The Canadian's got her against the cage again, and takes her down. Kaufman in side control, scrambles into crucifix position, and stays busy with punches. Kaufman with a full nelson, and Smith gets back up and goes out swinging.

Final result: Kaufman def. Smith by unanimous decision (30-27x3)

205 lbs.: Ryan Jimmo vs. Sean O'Connell

Round 1: They trade punches to get us going, and Jimmo slips after throwing a headkick. O'Connell brings him to the cage. Knees in the clinch from both guys. Jimmo reverses positioning. They trade right hands, and a good head kick lands from Jimmo. O'Connell moves forward and hits Jimmo with a good right hand. Pressed up against the cage again, "The Real OC" is going to the body. Nice body shots by O'Connell. Jimmo's avoiding the takedown, defending well. Shot to Jimmo's cup halts the action for a few seconds and we're back. Jimmo's cut open, but he's mixing up leg kicks and he storms in with a takedown. O'Connell is right back to his feet. Big Dan breaks up the clinch and right away, Jimmo plants O'Connell with a right hand. His opponent is floored, and Jimmo storms in with a few more punches. That is it.

Final result: Jimmo def. O'Connell by knockout (punches) at 4:27 of round one.

135 lbs.: George Roop vs. Dustin Kimura

Round 1: Roop tries his luck with a head kick, but it doesn't work. Kimura slaps Roop with a nice punch. Nice jab by Kimura. Another high kick from Roop. Takedown stuffed by Roop. Kimura catches Roop's leg and brings him down. Kimura working a front head lock. Roop reverses and winds up on top. Roop landing some punches from top position, including a nasty elbow. Nice punches to the body from Roop. The crowd boos. It's not really entertaining thus far.

Round 2: Some lunging forward from Roop, who lands a nice right hand. Kimura has his hands high. They trade punches against the fence, and go back to the center. Nice jab from Roop. Big left hand from Kimura, who gets the biggest shot on his side thus far. Roop looking for that high kick again. Kimura takes Roop down, and the latter has butterfly guard. He pushes Kimura right off him, while Kimura still hangs on. Kimura gets the back, but Roops escapes. He furiously comes forward, with punches and kicks. Kimura ties him up again and they clinch to end the round. Pretty awful fight.

Round 3: Takedown from Roop. Big elbows from Roop. Kimura trying to look for an escape, with Roop still landing some elbows. There's a serious hematoma on Kimura's head. Roop is in guard, landing some ground and pound. Roop spending the whole round in top position, landing some elbows, but the quietness of a crowd which is apparently under 60 people isn't helping. The horn sounds, with Roop still on top.

Final result: Roop def. Kimura by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-26)

155 lbs.: Mark Bocek vs. Mike De La Torre

Round 1: After a serious walkout music battle, we're on with hometown hero Yves Lavigne as the ref. They're trading jabs at the center, with Bocek catching De La Torre with lefts. Huge right from Bocek, and he goes for a takedown. Bocek takes the back, and lands a few knees to the body. De La Torre gets back his composure and they're clinched together. De La Torres counters the takedown and hits Bocek a few times as the Canadian gets up. They clinch together once more, and separate with Bocek lacing him with right hands repeatedly. Nice kick to the body by De La Torre. Uppercut by De La Torre, but Bocek laces him with a right hand. It's back and forth, and Bocek shoots in with a takedown. Bocek lands another stiff right, but De La Torre returns the favor. They trade until the final horn. Pretty good fight so far, with Bocek cut on the bridge of his noggin.

Round 2: The striking is a little more crisp in the second round. Bocek shoots, and gets the takedown but De La Torre scrambles up right away. They separate, and De La Torre lands a nice uppercut, followed by another. Bocek changes levels with a shoot, but De La Torre resists. Slower pace in the second. Nice combo from Bocek. De La Torre with a looping combo that lands, but Bocek doing well with his jabs. De La Torre doing well, stuffing another takedown. Nice jab from De La Torre. Nice overhead right from Bocek. De La Torre goes to the body and tries his luck at a takedown, but Bocek reverses. They end clinched up.

Round 3: De La Torre really grooving with his punches but he's still getting jabbed. Big takedown by Bocek, who hangs on to his foe's back once he's up. Bocek is bloodied. De La Torre counters with a good combination. Big knee to the body by De La Torre while Bocek shoots in. Nice shot to the temple by De La Torre, with Bocek returning with a shot of his own. Jab from Bocek. They clinch together, and these are two tired dudes. De La Torre is stuffing the takedowns well. Big right hand from Bocek, and he tries the takedown again. Bocke climbs on his back, holding onto the arm. Bocek elbowing his foe's head, but can't secure the rear-naked choke in the final seconds.

Final result: Bocek wins by split decision (28-29, 30-27, 29-28)

185 lbs.: Vik Grujic vs. Nordine Taleb

Round 1: Big Dan between them. Both fighters bouncy on the feet. Taleb clips Grujic as he comes in. Leg kick checked by Grujic. The Aussie lunges forward and misses badly. Grujic comes forward and misses a combo, while Taleb is staying stiff but defending well. The Canadian counters with a takedown, staying on top of his opponent in half guard. Taleb landing some good elbows in the guard, with Grujic trying his best to get out of a bad position. The experienced Taleb is showing Grujic how it's done on the mat, staying busy with ground and pound, not letting the Aussie up whatsoever. But Grujic eventually gets back to the feet, and they separate. They circle and circle until they clinch together right at the sound of the horn.

Round 2: They're keeping it technical on the feet, with hesitance from both until Taleb scores a belly-to-back suplex. He ends up in guard, smothering the Aussie once more. Grujic gets up and gets tripped by Taleb back to the mat. Grappling clinic here, folks. Taleb in half guard, looking pretty comfortable when transitioning. Keeping busy with sharp elbows, Taleb is just mauling Grujic. You got to give it up for Grujic, who's hanging in there.

Round 3: Grujic comes out swinging, landing a right hand but Taleb clocks him with a counter left. Takedown stuffed by Taleb. Grujic isn't pressuring him that much, and Taleb landing leg kicks and stiff jabs. Left hand lands from Grujic. Another takedown by Taleb, who continues the smothering. Taleb keeping busy, though, not laying and praying his way to victory. At least the homie is keeping busy in top position. He's controlling the head well, landing elbows and softening up the body. A cut opens up Grujic's forehead pretty bad. Well played until the final horn.

Final result: Taleb def. Grujic by unanimous decision (30-27x3)

170 lbs.: Chris Indich vs. Richard Walsh

Round 1: Phil Chartier is your ref. They start letting the hands go earl, and Walsh working a takedown. Indich reverses and they're grappling to gain superior advantage. Takedown by Walsh. Indich secures the guillotine, but Walsh storms out of it, staying on top of his opponent. Another big takedown from Walsh. Indich gets up, and they're in the middle of the Octagon. Another takedown by Walsh, dumping him and ending up in side control. Indich has a tight guillotine once Walsh lets him breathe a bit. Walsh gets out, and postures up. Indich threatens with a triangle and upkick but his foe ends the round by taking his back.

Round 2: Big left hand from Walsh, and he's channeling an inner Wanderlei with his punches. Indich covering up, but Walsh ties him up in the clinch against the cage. Nice left hand from Walsh. A big right hand from Walsh hurts Indich, but the former doesn't really know it yet. They're throwing punches, and Walsh scores a big kick to the body. Snapping jab followed by a big right hand from Walsh. They're in the clinch again, dirty boxing and trying to blast each other wth surprises. It's not really working for each of them. Big elbow from Walsh, and he hits his foe with a knee while they're still against the fence. Walsh gets a takedown to end the round and when Indich gets up, he takes more fists to the face.

Round 3: Walsh backing up his fellow Aussie with punches until they get back into the clinch. Big takedown by Walsh. They're reversing each other against the cage, with Walsh doing a little more to punish Indich in the dirty boxing. Indich counters a takedown but then ends up on top of his foe and takes his back. Some punches from Walsh, who is completely dominating the fight. Indich gets back up, looking absolutely drained, while Walsh keeps the pressure and his opponent up against the cage. Walsh breaks free and tries his attempt at a finish with a flurry before the horn.

Final result: Walsh def. Indich by unanimous decision (30-27x3)

135 lbs.: Mitch Gagnon vs. Tim Gorman

Round 1: Big Dan is your referee. Both fighters out southpaw. Gorman trying to find his range with a few long jabs. Gorman staggers Gagnon with a stiff jab. Gagnon going hard to the body on several occasions, and Gorman crouches down to avoid any more pressure -- but finds himself in a guillotine. Gagnon circling while holding on to the wrestler, and Gagnon working the arm-in guillotine on the mat. Nothing threatening, really. Gorman escapes, but his foe is coming at him hard. Gagnon mixing it up with kicks to the head, but Gorman secured the single leg. They're up against the fence, with Dan reminding them to keep working. The ref breaks them up, and Gagnon lands a big left hand.

Round 2: Gagnon mixing it up with stiff leg kicks, and goes to the head too. He scores a sick uppercut, which has Gorman working the takedown again. Gagnon doing well defending. Gagnon threatens with another guillotine, but the American defends well. Elbows to the back by Gagnon, and he slaps on another guillotine. Gorman drops to his back, and now the Canuck is in full guard. Front head lock by Gagnon, and now it's getting scrappy. Gorman working the single once more. It's turning into an ugly fight. Another break sees them at the center, and guess what...another guillotine from Gagnon, but Gorman finds himself in a few sub attempts from Gagnon. An exhausted Gorman is resting on Gagnon.

Round 3: Gagnon gets the takedown immediately. He's chilling in the guard, but Gorman is back up in no time. They're trading sloppy punches in the center, with Gagnon exhaustively working a guillotine he's not going to get at this point. Nice jabs from Gorman, but Gagnon has him covering up after an uppercut and a knee. Some more clinching agains the fence by Gorman and these dudes are tired. Separation by Dan, and Gagnon is pouring on the punches before securing a double leg. He stays busy on the mat until the final horn.

Final result: Mitch Gagnon def. Tim Gorman by unanimous decision (30-27x3)
