We were able to capture his early life as a young prodigy of the sport, his personal challenges and legacy and the impact B.J. has left on his hometown of Hilo, Hi. The filming was even more dramatic given the majestic backgrounds and heart felt candor of B.J. and his close family. This was a true privilege to be able to share with the world a side of B.
