The Brazilian Athletic Commission (CABMMA) on Monday issued its list of injuries and medical suspensions for those fighters participating in the UFC Fight Night 38: "Shogun vs. Henderson 2" event, which took place last Sunday night (March 23, 2014) at Nelio Dias Gymnasium in Natal, Brazil.
Not too bad, all things considered.
Most of the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters competing on the FOX Sports 1 main card, as well as the Fight Pass "Prelims," were sat for a couple of weeks for precautionary reasons, including headliner Mauricio Rua, who needs to have his nose re-attached after Dan Henderson knocked it into the fifth row.
See it again here.
Joining Rua on the six-month sideline is Michel Prazeres, who can return sooner if X-rays of his hand return negative. "Trator" mangled his mitt in a unanimous decision win over Mairbek Taisumov, who also earned a mandatory vacation in Brazil.
That's not all.
