Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey isn't looking to slow down anytime soon, as "Variety" reports that "Rowdy" has bagged two more movie roles to add to her blossoming acting career.
According to the report, Ronda will have one of the lead female roles in the upcoming "Entourage" movie, which is based on HBO's hit series.
If that wasn't enough, "Rowdy" will carry the lead role in Brad Thor's "Athena Project," an action-filled film which will see Ronda take on the responsibility of hunting down a master terrorist. A film that is expected to be a major franchise for Warner Bros. Studios, which means there could be a few more films in Rousey's future.
UFC's 135-pound queen first got her beak wet in the acting business with her supporting role in the upcoming blockbuster film "The Expendables 3," (sneak peak here) which opens in theaters on Aug. 15, 2014.
However, before Ronda begins filming "Entourage" -- which is expected to start shooting in March -- she'll defend her UFC bantamweight title against fellow Olympian Sara McMann in the main event of UFC 170 on Feb. 22, 2014 (details). That's only two months removed from defeating Miesha Tate for the second time at UFC 168 on Dec. 28, 2013.
No rest for the weary.
