I was browsing my Facebook earlier, and came across a friend posting a link to an auction that I thought was rather interesting. It turns out Mark Coleman is auctioning off his trophy from the 2000 PRIDE GP, as well as the check. You can check out the auction here.
What I want to know, is why would Mark want to get rid of this? Is he hard up for money? Maybe he's just sick of looking at his past, who knows. I feel like if I had something like this showing such an accomplishment, it would take a lot for me to be okay with getting rid of it. Sure he's a long way from his prime, but he made waves at one point and certainly had a hand in helping the sport become what it is today.
Anyone got an extra $25K or more burning a hole in their pocket?
