Super Bowl 48 is just about to kick off from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, as the AFC Champion Denver Broncos will do battle against the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks.

Kickoff is set for today (Sun., Feb. 2, 2014) at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Broncos got here with a close win over division rival San Diego followed by a thorough lashing of New England while the Seahawks dominated New Orleans before just barely scraping by San Francisco.

It's a great match-up between the number one offense (Denver) and the number one defense (Seattle) with Peyton Manning chasing his second career ring and the Seahawks looking to hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in the team's history.

Trindon Holliday didn't get far on the opening kickoff return.

Denver has the ball on its own 14 yard line.

1st and 10: The first play saw the snap go over Peyton Manning's head into the end zone. It was recovered by Knowshon Moreno and he was touched in the end zone. That's a safety. There was a flag on the play, but it was on the offense and declined.

1st and 10: No play. False start on Seattle. Pushes them back to the Denver 36.
1st and 15: They ran play-action and Russell Wilson had his tight end Zach Miller wide open but he threw too high and the pass fell incomplete.
2nd and 15: From the shotgun, Wilson gunned a quick dart into Jermaine Kearse's chest for six yards.
3rd and 9: They went with an inside slant to Kearse and he picked up 12 for a fresh set of downs. Big conversion on an important drive early. Seattle is now inside the red zone.

4th and 6: From 31 yards out, Stephen Hauschka drilled it for three points.

2nd and Goal: They threw a screen to Harvin on the left side and he dropped the ball.
