Steve Bosse vs Ryan Jimmo booked for TUF: 'Nations' live finale on April 16 in Quebec City

Anne-Marie Sorvin-US PRESSWIRE

Oh, Canada.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send a pair of hometown boys to the cage when Steve Bosse and Ryan Jimmo square off at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Nations" live finale, which takes place on April 16, 2014 inside Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City, Canada, on FOX Sports 1.

UFC announced the light heavyweight booking earlier today.

Bosse (10-1) enters the promotion on the strength of an eight-fight winning streak. Unfortunately, being the "Boss" of the local circuit and making some noise in the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion are two different animals and he's got a pretty stiff test right out of the gate.

Sink or swim.

Jimmo (18-3) was a "Big Deal" under Canada's Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) banner in the early part of his career; however, the Halifax hurter is just 2-2 since transitioning to UFC in July 2012 and is coming off a recent loss to Jimi Manuwa.

Failing to gain any momentum -- then losing to a newcomer -- could put him on the proverbial chopping block.

TUF: "Nations" finale will be headlined by the Michael Bisping vs. Tim Kennedy grudge match, as well as the co-headliner between season coaches Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke. In addition, tournament champions will be crowned in the welterweight and middleweight divisions.
