We can assume that Cesar Gracie was unhappy with the way his star pupil and top lightweight contender Gilbert Melendez was treated during his contract negotiations, which eventually led to "El Nino" striking a deal with Bellator MMA. While UFC still has a right to match the offer, Gracie may tell the rest of the "Skrap Pack" to jump ship, if UFC President Dana White is going to "punk" his crew.
