Remembering Scotti - 02/2014

Maniacs,

Last year we lost the best poster to have ever commented on this site.

Scotti was funny, sincere, open minded and very friendly to anyone who was willing to interact with him.

I remember a thread in which Myers was giving out Mania shirts to posters. I offered my potential shirt to Scotti because I was being the cool kid in the room. I thought, "meh, it's just a shirt...whatever".

Scotti then responded with the quote that I currently have in my sig :

" With there being a limited number of shirts, I don’t want to take one from a deserving OG.

If the guys decide I deserve one, nobody will wear it with more pride.

Straight up. "

With a few words Scotti humbled me and reminded me what the concept of character truly meant.

I put in some links to help the newer regulars understand just how much he meant to this community as a Maniac and as a person.

I'll suggest that it goes on before 8pm

That way you can finish your paper route and still catch all the action before jammies and bedtime.

When embroiled in an argument with a fellow Maniac

and you are concerned you may be losing…..
Call the guy a fag.
You’re coming along nicely, Skippy.
