One down, several to go.
UFC 184 headliner Vitor Belfort was hit with a surprise drug test earlier this month while training in South Florida, when the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) sent collectors to his gym -- unannounced -- to collect samples of both blood and urine.
Those samples have returned negative for performance-enhancing drugs.
Per NSAC's Bob Bennett, @vitorbelfort has passed the blood/urine test he took on Nov. 1. UFC paid for the cost of test. @ChrisWeidmanUFC

Belfort is expected to get tested again by California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) after heading to Los Angeles, Calif., for his UFC 184 pay-per-view (PPV) main event against middleweight champion Chris Weidman, scheduled for Feb. 28, 2014.
When and where is up to them.
The Brazilian was popped for elevated testosterone earlier this year and continues to get dogged by his fellow mixed martial arts (MMA) brethren. Not only does Weidman refer to his as a "cheating juicehead," Luke Rockhold is convinced "The Phenom" won't even make it to fight night.
We'll see who gets the last laugh on Feb. 28.
