Kelvin Gastelum, the winning of the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), has been impressive thus far in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career. The undefeated Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight is coming off a first round rear naked choke victory of Brian Melancon at UFC Fight Night: "Condit vs. Kampmann 2."

Gastelum tossed his name in the hat to face Carlos Condit at UFC 171 when Nick Diaz turned down the fight. While he didn't get the fight he originally wanted, he will be fighting on the card against a very tough and young UFC welterweight in Rick Story.

Story is coming back from a win against Brian Ebersole at UFC 167. Story proved to be the faster and stronger figher, taking home a unanimous decision. Before that, he's been a bit inconsistent. After starting a successful start to his UFC career, he's suffered some pretty disappointing losses.

UFC 171 takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on pay-per-view (PPV).
