Get ready for an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) world title fight double-dip TONIGHT (Sat., Feb. 1, 2014) when the pre-eminent mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion returns to Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

UFC 169, the company's first pay-per-view (PPV) show of its 2014 combat sports campaign, will feature a re-worked Bantamweight main event rematch between reigning 135-pound kingpin, Renan Barao, taking on former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) champion, Urijah Faber, with Dominick Cruz forced to vacate his belt because of another injury.

Featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, will also be featured atop the bill, defending his 145-pound strap against top division contender, Ricardo Lamas, in the co-main event of the evening. In other PPV main card action, Alistair Overeem and Frank Mir will collide in a "do or die"-type Heavyweight match, while John Lineker and Ali Bagautinov will look to become the next in line for Flyweight leader, Demetrious Johnson.

UFC 169 MAIN CARD PLAY-BY-PLAY RESULTS (PPV):

135 lbs.: UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao vs. Urijah Faber

Round one: Good body kick from Barao, Urijah catches it and lands a left hand on the exit. Faber tries to rush Renan, does not land. Urijah slips on a kick and Barao attempts to take his back, settling for landing hooks as Urijah stands. Good right hand from Urijah. Barao head kick is blocked. Barao with a short right hand as Urijah tries to rush him. Nice leg kick by Barao and he drops Urijah with a hard right hand. Urijah survives, but eats some knees as he stands up. Renan wobbles him again with a left hook and Urijah holds on. Impressively, Faber survives and gets distance.Another big right hand drops Faber and FAber latches onto his leg. Renan drops hammerfists from that position until the ref steps in. Perhaps a bit early, but a tremendous performance from Barao.

Final result: Barao def. Faber by TKO

145 lbs.: UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo vs. Ricardo Lamas

Round one: Lamas with a leg kick to start. Another, but both land on Aldo's shin. Aldo 3-2 is blocked a minute in. Also flashing the jab. Lamas head kick blocked. Side kick to the body, leg kick checked. Aldo very conservative early. Checks another Lamas leg kick. 2-3-leg kick from Aldo connects. Spinning back kick to the body glances off. Good body kick by Lamas, but he slips and amusingly crab-walks away from Aldo as Jose pursues with punches. Aldo with a slick counter right. Big hook to the body from Jose. Lamas falls short with some spinning kicks. Aldo with a failed flying knee and short punches to end the round. 10-10.

Round two: Lamas has another leg kick checked. Blocked high kick, checked leg kick. Teep by the champ. Big leg kick by Jose. Lamas finally lands a leg kick. Heavy body shots by Jose. Stiff jab by Lamas. Aldo avoids a big right hand. Aldo checks a low kick, lands one of his own. Counter hook by Aldo. Lamas with the jab, eats another leg kick. Check and kick once again. Two more hard leg kicks. Right hand bounces off Lamas' guard. Lamas fires a good-looking wheel kick that nonetheless falls short; Another Aldo leg kick. Another, this one to the back of the thigh. Another checked Lamas low kick. Lamas possibly wobbled by a right hand, although it may have been the leg damage. Aldo continues to punish the leg and blocks a wheel kick. Round three: Lamas blocks a body kick, lands one himself. Leg kick from Aldo. Another and then one to the right leg. Aldo hits the left hook low kick sequence twice in quick succession. Lamas grabs a single leg, Aldo limp legs out. Lamas head kick blocked. Aldo slams home another leg kick. Lamas lands a clean leg kick. Teep from the challenger. Leg kick from Aldo and he blocks another head kick. Aldo's head movement is on point. Stiff jab connects. Lamas with an inside low kick. Left hook to the liver, leg kick by Jose. Checks another leg kick. Lamas throwing some heavy punches, lands a right hand. Leg kick checked. Good jab from Ricardo. Lamas lands a right, Aldo greets him with a left hook. Aldo catches a kick and lands a low kick to end the round. 10-9 Aldo.

Round four: Aldo checks yet another leg kick. His connects. Lamas in on a single-leg, pushes Aldo to the cage. Aldo with some hammerfists. Lamas picks Aldo up and Aldo stands on the side of the cage to keep his balance. Lamas still on the leg until Aldo gets a body lock and reverses position. Aldo presses him against the fence for a little while before taking him down. Lamas trying to use butterfly guard against the cage. Aldo works his way almost into side control and briefly teases an arm triangle. Lamas regains half guard. Lamas tries to get up, only manages to get to butterfly guard. Aldo hops over the hooks into mount and takes Lamas' back as he tries to get up. Aldo looking for the choke, but doesn't quite have it under Ricardo's chin. Lamas escapes out the backdoor and goes in on the leg once again. Aldo lands a trio of Browne elbows. Round ends with Aldo in superior position in the clinch. 10-9 Aldo.

Round five: Good body kick from Ricardo. He steps in for a big haymaker and Aldo ties him up against the cage. Aldo drags him down and Lamas quickly gains guard. Lamas with an overhook, loses it and goes to butterfly again. Aldo passes quickly to side and just as quickly to mount. Lamas manages to roll his way out and winds up on top in the scramble. Currently in Aldo's guard and he's looking to drop elbows. Aldo controlling his torso fairly well. Nice elbow lands. Lamas postures up and lands a left hand and another elbow. Another big elbow connects. Aldo manages to wrap him up after another heavy elbow until the last fifteen seconds. Lamas ends the round dropping punches and elbows. 10-9 Lamas.

Final result: Aldo def. Lamas by unanimous decision

265 lbs.: Alistair Overeem vs. Frank Mir

Round one: Mir moving forward, takes a right hand to the body. Mir one-two connects. Mir moves in and Alistair gets double underhooks. They separate. Nice shovel hook by Overeem. Left hook cuffs Frank's ear. Alistair gets the underhooks and drives a knee into Frank Mir's body. As they move about in the clinch he clocks Mir with a big knee to the head. Mir stumbles to the ground and Overeem starts bludgeoning him from top position. Big elbows and punches. Knee to the body, punches to the head, knee to the body. Another knee to the body as Mir rises. Mir separates and survives. Mir with a side kick, whiffs on his punches. Alistair steps into the clinch and Frank drops for a leglock. Overeem avoids it and establishes in half guard. Overeem with a big hammerfist. Left to the body, hammerfist to the bonce. Alistair ends the round with short punches. 10-9 Overeem.

Round two: Jab from Overeem. Mir with a leg kick. Another, this one partially checked. Alistair moves into the clinch and tosses Mir to the canvas. He lets him back up. Another clinch and a knee to the body. Mir with his back against the cage, same place he's fallen so many times before. Mirg breaks them up immediately. Right and left from Overeem. Mir rushes in and scores a takedown at the base of the fence. Frank looking for the guillotine as Overeem rises; he pulls half guard with it, but Overeem gets out and drops some elbows.Good right hands by Alistair. Knee to the body from Alistair and another right to the head. Alistair postures up and lands a big elbow, which lets Frank establish guard. Overeem working on bicep control, lands an elbow. Another. Frank grabs the fence to spin for an armbar, which lets Alistair stand. He kicks Frank's leg once, then elects to make him stand. They end the round with simultaneous kicks. 10-9 Overeem.

Round three: Mir wings some kicks to no effect. Mir pulls guard as Alistair rushes him. Elbow to the body from Overeem before he stands and makes Frank to the same. Frank shoots again, is sprawled on, pulls guard again. Alistair takes half guard. Alistair with some short punches and elbows. Hard right hand from Alistair after Frank regains guard. Big left hand this time. Hammerfist and elbow to the body. Elbow to the head. Anothe rone to the body. Frank is offering nothing here. Another big right by The Reem. Alistair gets bored of it and stands, waving Frank up. Right straight connects for Alistair. Alistair clocks him with a left hook at the ten second mark and the fight ends with them staring at each other. 10-9 Overeem.

125 lbs.: Ali Bagautinov vs. John Lineker

Round one: Bagautinov ducks a right hand into a rapid double leg, winding up on top in Lineker's guard. Lineker works with an overhook and tries to use bicep control for a triangle, neither of which amount to anything. Ali postures and lands a right. Lineker tries to push him off but winds up with a single butterfly hook. Back to guard and Ali drops some ground-and-pound. He stands to try to pass and Lineker goes for a heel hook. Ali does the same and they work from 50-50. Lineker tries to disengage, but Ali stays latched on and goes for an inverted heel hook. Lineker escapes, stands, and waves him on. Lineker trudging forward, Ali circling near the fence. Head kick from Lineker is caught and Ali takes him down into side control. Half guard now. Lineker looking for a Kimura on Ali's right arm; seems doomed to failure. Lineker bends it surprisingly far before Bagautinov pulls out and ends the round dropping ground-and-pound. 10-9 Bagautinov.

Round two: Lineker still pressing forward. Ali high kick is blocked. Lead right hind misses. Ali shoots in for a low takedown, can't get it. Big left hand by Ali as he flurries with Lineker against the cage. Knees to the body from both and Lineker smacks him with a right hand as they exit the clinch. Ali between John and the cage. Hard right to the body from Linker and another. Another as Ali pops him upstairs. Ali threatens a takedown, does not commit. Next attempt fails. Good left and right from Ali. Lineker opens up on Ali against the cage and seems to bother him. Ali attempts a takedown to no avail. Ali ducks a wide right hand for a takedown. Lineker sprawls on it and goes to work with elbows to the body. Knee to the body from John as Ali rises and presses him against the cage. They break away after John threatens with the Thai plum. Hard left from Bagautinov. Another one. Body kick and front kick; he shoots after the kick but is again sprawled on. Body shot from Lineker. Bagautinov tries a head kick, takes some glancing shots. Overhand left from Ali, left hand and knee to the head. Lineker stuffs a takedown and backs Ali off with punches at the bell. 10-9 Lineker.

Round three: Lineker again advancing as Ali circles. Both land hard right hands. Ali shoots in and takes John down after an ill-advised right hand from Lineker. John is up to his feet, but Ali still has the body lock and he slams him down. Lineker fishing for a Kimura on Ali's left arm after moving to half guard. Ali stands out of it and John gets to his feet. Good knees to the body from Ali. John separates, but eats a hard left hand and gets taken down again after getting spun around. Ali on top in half guard throwing ground-and-pound. Knee to the body as Lineker stands. Ali with the body lock against the fence.Ali lands a couple knees before John breaks his grip and they reset at the center. Good left by Lineker; there's a huge bruise on his back from where he got slammed. Ali shoots in on a very low takedown and gets him down. Ali dropping heavy ground-and-pound as Lineker goes for a Hail Mary heel hook. Ali posing for the crowd as Lineker messes with his foot. There's the bell, 10-9 Bagautinov.

Round one: Stiff jab early by Varner. Front kick to the gut. Trujillo looking to rush with punches. Counter right from Varner after just avoiding a left hook. Same sequence, except the hook lands. Big exchange near the fence. Right hand from Varner connects. Trujillo presses forward for a takedown, but Varner uses underhooks to take him down. Varner rolls to take his back; he's got the seatbelt grip but not the hooks. Trujillo rolls out of a bad spot but Varner locks up a north-south choke. Varner doesn't quite have his lat on top of Abel's neck and Abel looks okay. He tightens it up with about a minute to go but elects to transition to mount instead. Trujillo stops it and gets to his feet. They start swinging crazy strikes, kicked off by a Trujillo left hook. Round ends with more crazy exchanges, a Varner right hand the best of the lot. 10-9 Varner.

Round two: Trujillo is looking for the lead left hook. Jamie tries a step-in knee that comes up short. Big left hook by Varner wobbles Trujillo and kicks off those crazy swings once again. Now Trujillo rattles Varner, stopping the takdeown attempt. Varner backs Trujillo up to the cage and hurts him enough to force a takedown attempt. Varner hemmerfists as Trujillo tries to drag him down. Now Varner gets the better position and beating up Trujillo against the fence. Trujillo again with a right hand that stumbles Varner but Jamie is relentless. This is a ridiculous brawl. Jamie hurts him with a left hook and out of nowhere, Trujillo annihilates him with a right hand. Varner faceplants and this fight is over. Wow.

Final result: Trujillo def. Varner by KO (punch)

UFC 169 UNDER CARD "PRELIMS" PLAY-BY-PLAY RESULTS (FOX SPORTS 1):

155 lbs.: John Makdessi vs. Alan Patrick

Round one: Patrick shoots early and briefly controls Makdessi against the cage. John moves the clinch to center age and escapes. Makdessi looking to counter early. Patrick misses a spinning back kick and is easily stuffed on a subsequent shot. Spinning backfist misses as well. Counter left hook by Makdessi connects. Hard inside leg kick form the Brazilian. Another. Makdessi ducks a spinning backfist and lands a powerful right hand. Capoeira-style wheel kick attempt this time. Patrick trying to rush in with his power left hand. Knee to the body lands, Makdessi counters with a left. Patrick lands a left hook. Makdessi leg kick, Patrick knees him in the body after John slips. Lead right hand by Makdessi. Jab to the body just after the four-minute mark. Patrick blasts into a double and takes Makdessi down against the cage. Makdessi to his feet quickly but still pressed into the fence. Round two: Makdessi with a leg kick. Patrick tries to kick the body and shoot afterwards, but Makdessi denies it. Counter left hook by The Bull. Body kick from Patrick, takedown unsuccessful. Jab to the body from Makdessi. Brief clinch leads to nothing. Patrick rushes in with a double left hook, lands the second one. Another blast double from Patrick puts Makdessi briefly down against the cage, but the Canadian is back up quickly. Lead left by Patrick and then a left hook. Leg kick by Makdessi and a good counter left. Leg kick and body jab. Makdessi tries a spinning back kick that Patrick avoids. Another failed wheel kick from the Brazilian. Stiff jab from The Bull. Round one: Cariaso tries a head kick early, Martinez immediately shoots and presses Cariaso against the fence. Cariaso gets an underhook and separates. Cariaso fires a sequence of head kicks, all blocked, followed by a leg kick. Cariaso continues throwing head kicks, punctuating them with a body kick. Martinez flurries his way into another takedown attempt. He tries to transition into a single leg to no effect. Martinez still holding him against the cage at the halfway point. As Cariaso exits, Martinez lands a body shot and eats a right hand upstairs. Good right hand from Cariaso, Martinez flurries. Cariaso lands a hard body kick and Martinez shoots again. Again, Cariaso stuffs it. Martinez gets him down at the bast of the fence around the minute mark. Cariaso punches the body as he tries to get up. Martinez with an illegal knee attempt as Cariaso gets up. Chris on his feet. Martinez finally lifts him up and slams him down away from the cage. Cariaso strikes off his back to end the round. 10-9 Cariaso.

Round two: Cariaso one-one-two falls short. Martinez lands a wide left hook. Cariaso counter left. Martinez clips him with some wide haymakers, Cariaso lands a right hook in response. Leg kick from Cariaso and a counter right hook. Martinez flinging some crazy shots and eating counters regularly. Martinez flurries again, connects upstairs, and shoots yet again. Martinez holds Cariaso against the fence for about thirty seconds before Cariaso escapes. Right hook from Cariaso, head kick nearly connects. Good body kick and right hand. Martinez, again, flurries, connects, and shoots for a takedown. He finally gets him down against the cage, but Cariaso is back up quickly. Cariaso lands a knee upstairs and one to the body after he puts a hand down. Some Browne elbows from Cariaso. Martinez takes him down for about a second in the last ten seconds, after which Cariaso punches his way clear. 10-9 Cariaso.

Round three: Heavy exchanges open the round, Cariaso getting the better of them. Martinez lands a sequence of wide shots, pressing Cariaso against the fence afterwards. Chris exits with no ill effects. Double jab and left hand by Cariaso. Cariaso head kick attempt lets Martinez take him down. Chris pushes Martinez away and stands. Counter right hook by Cariaso and a jab. Flurry and takedown attempt yet again by Martinez. More jockeying against the cage before Cariaso exits. Head kicks from Cariaso blocked. Body kick connects. Counter right hook after Martinez tries his flurry again. Martinez connects on a wild right hand. Martinez with another wild right that connects. Round one: Kong lands a leg kick after thirty seconds of inactivity. Catone has a head kick blocked. Kong tries a head kick, Catone rushes him with punches in response. Hard leg kick by Watson. Catone with one of his own. Catone answers a body kick with a right hand up top. Another leg kick and body kick from Watson. Halfway into the round and no takedown attempts from Catone. As I say that, he rushes in on a double-leg. Kong stuffs it against the cage and Catone works for it for a little while longer before separating. Catone with a jab. Kong answers with another leg kick. Catone body kick, Watson leg kick. Catone catches a knee to the body and takes Kong down. Watson scoots to the cage and attempts to rise as Catone keeps the bodylock. Catone attempts to get a hook but can't keep it there. Watson on one knee trying to stand as Catone knees to the thigh. He finally gets Watson down with twenty seconds to go. Catone lands some short shots in the clinch before the bell. 10-9 Watson.

Round two: Early right hand by Catone. Jab follows it. Another good jab as Watson advances. Watson left hook is ducked. Watson lands a glancing head kick. Watson misses a front kick, lands a leg kick. Another one, this time answered by Catone. Solid right from Nick. Watson body kick bounces off the forearms of Catone. Catone head kick likewise blocked. Catone with a right hand off a head kick. Kong continues working the legs. Head kick blocked. Catone connects with a solid right hand. Watson lands another leg kick but Catone uses the opportunity to take him down. Kong again works his way to the cage. Catone briefly holds him there, taking a knee before separating. Double leg from Catone succeeds. Watson with his back against the cage, tries to stand again and nearly gives up his back. Next time he stands, Catone grabs onto a high crotch grip. Catone loses it and Watson exits with a knee before the bell. 10-9 Catone.

Round three: Catone with a left hook. Watson connects with another good leg kick. Head kick blocked. Anotehr leg kick. He doubles up the head kick, both blocked, and stuffs a takedown. Finger apparently goes in Catone's eye as he tries it, ref says keep going. Watson connects with a hard right hand after some more leg kicks. Kong continues to punish the leg and easily stuffs a shot. Watson nearly connects on a head kick. Catone so far has no answer for the leg kicks. Stiff jab by Catone. Uppercut in the clinch, though he continues taking shots to the legs. Catone gets in deep on a takedown and once more has Kong down at the base of the fence. He gets up and Watson lands an elbow on the exit. Left hook lands. Another shot from Catone succeeds and this time he takes Watson's back. Both hooks in. Kong tries to rise and manages to briefly get free, though Catone wrangles him down once again. Now they roll to the familiar position and the round ends with Catone latched onto a leg. 10-9 Watson.

Final result: Catone def. Watson by split decision

155 lbs.: Al Iaquinta vs. Kevin Lee

Round one: Iaquinta with a body shot after a couple of exchanges. Lee with a lead right, Iaquinta counters with the same. Big counter right from Lee. Stiff jab crumples Lee; the next punch drops him again. He manages to survive but Iaquinta stays on him. Lee buys time with a takedown attempt and is steady when they separate. HE lands a knee to the body. Iaquinta with another left hook. Both men land their lefts. Lee steps in for a single-leg and Iaquinta counters with a flying scissor heel hook attempt. Lee holding onto Al's hand to deny the inverted heel hook. Iaquinta loses the heel hook and briefly teases a kneebar; Lee takes the opportunity to get a hook in as Al stands. Lee pressing Iaquinta against the cage. Good knee by Lee before they separate. Stiff jab by Al at the minute mark. Al using head movement to avoid most shots in the last minute, although Lee dows land a right hand late. Al clips him with an overhand right at the bell. 10-9 Iaquinta.

Round two: Al with another good jab. Lee has a heavy head kick blocked. Body shot and overhand right by Iaquinta. Lee responds with a high-speed takedown and immediately takes the back. He's got the choke already and Al is struggling to survive. Al controlling Lee's hand as Kevin has a forearm under his neck. Al breaks the grip but is still caught in a body triangle. Two minutes to go and Kevin is still fighting for the choke. Al trying to turn into him with no success. Minute to go, no change in position. Lee rides out the round with the body triangle. 10-9 Lee.

Round three: Iaquinta lands a big right hand early and has Lee on the retreat. Another one connects. A third. Now a left hook connects; Lee is steady and lucid, however. Lee avoids a wild uppercut. One-two to the body from Al. Lee has a head kick blocked. Lee goes for a single-leg and Al again goes for the heel hook. Nothing doing and he soon gets to his feet after taking some punches. Lee lands a knee as they separate. Iaquinta lands a counter left hook as Lee slips after a flying knee attempt. Iaquinta steps in for a single-leg of his own and Lee tries a flying head kick Bendo-Edgar I style. It doesn't land, but he scrambles into his own takedown attempt, with Al stuffs. Next overhand gets through unanswered. Left to the guts from Hester. Enz tries a combo, avoids the counter. Enz pumping his jab. Head kick by Enz after a good combo seems to spark Hester, but he's steady on his feet. Hester steps in with another left hook. Body kick and jab by Enz, Hester lands an overhand right counter. Lead right lands for Hester, they trade kicks. Both men whiff on head kicks in the waning seconds. 10-9 Hester.

Round two: Staying just out of one another's range in the early going. Enz with a body kick, Hester with a counter right. Hester takes him down into half guard. Hester hops into side control, Enz uses the chance to stand. Hester pops him with a few shots before they separate. Good body kick by Enz. Front kick just misses. Enz pumps his jab, avoids the counter right. Stiff jab from Clint. Hester using head movement to avoid most of Enz's punches. Hester with a leaping left hook to the chin. Enz pushes forward behind punches, avoids Hester's counter shots but runs headlong into a takedown. Hester in half guard. Enz manages to regain full guard. He pushes Hester off to stand but eats a big right hand after doing so. Enz's punches fall short, body kick doesn't. Nice counter straight from Hester. Enz with a solid right. Round three: Inside leg kick and counter hook from Hester. Enz nearly takes a head kick, lands a body kick in response. Hester jab, Enz body kick. Hester tries a spinning backfist, misses, and takes a left hook for his trouble. Nice double jab by Enz. Clint with a cross counter. Lead right this time. Enz with a one-two, followed by another body kick. Hester steps in with a solid overhand right. Enz left hook met by an overhand right counter. Enz very active but not terribly accurate. Head kick nearly lands for him. One-two does, but he eats another right. Enz blocks a body kick. Enz right hand and a stiff jab to follow. Body kick. Hester answers with a thudding body shot. Hester with another leaping left hook, answers a right with one of his own. Hester hits a takedown but Enz quickly rises. Enz takes a left hook as he lands a body shot. Round ends, 10-9 Enz.

Round one: Martin looks significantly larger in the cage than his opponent. Magomedov lands a body kick and leg kick after about forty seconds of circling. Martin shoots in for a quick takedown attempt and presses Rashid against the cage. He hits a good-looking sacrifice throw to wind up in side control. Martin looks for mount but gives up half guard. Now guard after Martin tries to hop into side control, now half again. Martin steps over for a Kimura; he rolls Rashid over and has plenty of leverage. This is his best technique. Now he rolls for an armbar; Rashid's face is contorted in extreme pain but he somehow escapes and returns to his feet. Rashid working leg kicks. Martin head kick is blocked. Round ends with them circling. 10-9 Martin.

Round two: Rashid leg kick opens the round. Head kick misses. Martin tries a takedown; Rashid stuffs it but gets pressed into the fence. Tony working with the body lock. They trade knees to the body. Martin tries another sacrifice throw but winds up on the bottom. Rashid lands a pair of powerful left hands and passes to half guard. Martin uses a butterfly hook to elevate Rashid and get to his feet. Rashid walking forward with kicks, takes a right hand but lands a knee. Tony teases a takedown but is quickly denied. More light kicks by Rashid, trying to open up countering opportunities. Good body kicks. Tony steps in with a body kick and avoids a counter combo. Tony's left eye looks damaged from the ground-and-pound. Bell, 10-9 Magomedov.

Round three: Leg kicks early. Big counter right hand from Magomedov. Martin ducks in for a takedown, avoids a throw from Rashid, and presses him against the cage. Martin gets a leg, can't get Rashid down. Knees to the body from both. Martin leaves his head exposed and Rashid locks up a palm-to-palm guillotine. Martin rolls out of it but winds up on the bottom. Rashid drops a right hand and Martin turtles. He gets to his feet, only to take a head kick and huge right hand. Martin still game and looking for a takedown, eats a knee to the body on the way in. Magomedov looks for the guillotine again with no success. Martin trying to work a single leg, eats more knees. Martin tries some knees of his own that seem to be falling short. Ref breaks them up with a minute to go. MArtin shoots in right away and is denied. Ref pauses the fight to look at Martin's face. Doctor says he's fine and the re-engage. Body kick and head kick from Magomedov as he stuffs yet another takedown. Martin pressing him into the fence until the ten-second mark. Rashid lands an uppercut to end the fight. 10-9 Magomedov.

Final result: Magomedov def. Martin by unanimous decision

Round one: Magny flicking out jabs and straights early on. Gasan with a leg kick. Another, Magny responds with a flurry. Magny pushes him back and ends the rush with a knee and Gasan takes the opportunity to tie him up. Magny breaks off very quickly and they reset. Left straight by Magny and a knee falls short. Gasan has a left hook blocked. Umalatov ducks under a left and hoists Magny to the ground, directly into side control. Magny gets a leg in and tried deep half. He eventually pushes back into open guard and upkicks his way to his feet. Magny tries a takedown of his own, which Umalatov reverses and presses him briefly into the fence. Magny again breaks away. Right hand through Gasan's guard. Umalatov with a leg kick. Another good right by Magny. Umalatov catches a kick but can't finish the takedown. Magny pressing forward behind combinations as Gasan's counters fall short. Magny goes for a tkedown against the cage. He has the body lock, but Umalatov tries a hip toss. Magny uses the whizzer to regain position and eventually takes Umalatov down, getting his back in the process. Magny runs out of time on Gasan't back. 10-9 Magny.

Round two: Magny again moving forward, lands a body kick that Gasan catches but can't utilize. Constant stream of jabs and straights from Magny landing with solid accuracy. Gasan lead left hook is blocked, Magny flurries and pushes him into the cage. Gasan reverses. Magny lands some knees to the body after again reversing. Umalatov breaks the clinch. Good counter right by Umalatov after eating a leg kick. Gasan trying to counter the straight shots with overhands but can't get the range. Nice combination by Umalatov pushes Magny to the cage and Gasan briefly tries a takedown. Gasan struggling with Neil's jab. Magny nearly eats a big overhand and goes for a single-leg. He transitions to a near-body lock. Umalatov gets an underhook as Neil lands clinch strikes. He reverses position but can't capitalize. Magny continues with knees to the body before Gasan breaks away. Gasan sets up a takedown with some wide punches but can't get it. Magny reverses against the cage. Gasan tries a takedown, fails, and Magny winds up getting his back, flattening him out and landing punches before the bell. 10-9 Magny.

Round three: Magny still pumping his jab and right hand. Gasan falls short with a wheel kick. Gasan trudging forward but unable to close the distance. Gasan briefly tries to lock up against he fence after missing with a right hand. Magny breaks away. Magny continues to land as Umalatov's punches come up short. Umalatov lands a right to the body and manages to take Magny down to his knees briefly. Neil on one knee against the fence, Gasan working for the back. Magny escapes before Gasan can get anything going. Gasan is throwing with urgency, though unsuccessfully. Magny blocks a high kick, nearly lands one of his own. Gasan catches a knee to the body and immediately takes Magny down. Neil teases an omoplata, which gets Umalatov to back off enough for him to stand. Gasan locks him up once again against the cage. Magny pushes him back with punches and tries to change levels. They trade position against the cage for the last few seconds before Magny breaks free. 10-9 Magny.

Final result: Magny def. Umalatov by unanimous decision
