With a full two weeks between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl -- and only the consistently lame Pro Bowl to separate them -- simply waiting for the big game isn't easy.
It sucks, actually, but National Football League (NFL) cushions the blow with an assorted list of activities once the two competing teams, in this case the AFC Champion Denver Broncos and NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks, touch down in the host city, in this case East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Up first? Media Day!
For those unfamiliar, Media Day is exactly the way it sounds. Players from both teams are given a time to show up to a venue where some sit at a podium -- others simply mill about -- and answer questions from the throng of media gathered looking for a juicy quote.
With Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman and the outspoken Seahawks in town, they likely won't have to look far to find one.
Fans can actually attend this event by purchasing tickets via Ticketmaster, though you'd be hard pressed to find one available by now. That's because the big day is less than 24 hours away as of this writing.
Here's all the information you need to know on it:
Date: Tues., Jan. 28, 2014
Venue: Prudential Center
City: Newark, New Jersey
Doors open: 9:00 a.m. ET
Start time: 10:30 a.m. ET

This will represent the last of the Broncos and Seahawks major media obligations before they're off to prepare for Super Bowl 48, which is scheduled for Sun., Feb. 2, 2014, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Assuming the weather holds up, of course.
