UFC Fight Night 34 drug test results are in from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which today (Jan. 22, 2014) confirmed that all 20 of the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters tested for illegal/banned substances have passed with flying colors.
UFC acts as its own regulatory body in locations with no athletic commission.
Results from those battery of tests, which include performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) such as steroids and drugs of abuse like cocaine and marijuana, among others, all returned negative, according to Sherdog.com. In addition, no exemptions were issued for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
UFC recently busted one of their own for TRT abuse just last month.
"Saffiedine vs. Lim" featured a five-round war pitting top up-and-coming welterweight Tarec Saffiedine against venerable division stalwart Hyun Gyu Lim. In addition, Tatsuya Kawajiri made a successful UFC debut by strangling Brazilian import Sean Soriano.
