Jon Jones is the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion of the world.
His older and younger brothers have both found success in NFL. Arthur is a member of the Baltimore Ravens and Chandler is a defensive end for the New England Patriots. But for the youngest of the three, there is no question who the most successful is.
From his conversation with Yahoo:
"Jon is the most successful in the family. He's the champion of the world individually by himself, so I don't think there is much I can do."
While many may argue that Arthur's Super Bowl ring is much more prestigious than a belt held by a professional mixed martial artist, for Chandler, his brother's success is based on him being an individual athlete and not being able to rely on his teammates when the going gets rough.
"I don't think it's possible [to be considered better than an individual athlete]. I don't think there is a way."
Fight fans witnessed "Bones" dig deep and exercise his fighting spirit against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165 last September and don't be surprised if the 19-1 superstar is forced to do it again at the upcoming UFC 172 event by a very game Glover Teixeira.
One thing is for certain, Chandler won't give up at trying to dethrone his brother from the spot atop the Jones' family tree.
"We are always competing though. We are very competitive and maybe we'll see."
Long live sibling rivalry.
