Video: TUF 18 'Team Rousey vs Team Tate' Episode 5 Preview

The UFC and Fox Sports 1 have released a preview for the upcoming episode of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs Team Tate. Ronda Rousey's mom visits the TUF gym and several fighters struggle to make weight.

On the last episode of the Ultimate Fighter (TUF), Team Rousey was able to pick up their first win of the competition when Jessica Rakoczy was able to finish Roxanne Modafferi in the second round by TKO (punches). It was a highly emotional fight for everyone in the house as Modafferi is such a likable person.

With the opportunity to now choose the next fight, Rousey selected David Grant to face Team Tate's Louis Fisette. Grant was Rousey's second male pick, while Fisette was an injury replacement after Tim Gorman was forced from the competition due to a serious hamstring injury.

In the upcoming episode, Rousey's mom, Anna Maria DeMars stops by the Ultimate Fighter Gym to workout with her daughter's team. DeMars is a former Judo World Champion in her own right, so it's expected that she'll pass on some knowledge onto Team Rousey.

The preview also mentions that several fighters are struggling to maintain weight. With both the men and women fighting at Bantamweight (135 pounds), they can't let their weights get out of control, especially with a possibility of fighting three times in a matter of weeks.
