Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez full fight video (YouTube) from UFC 121 in Anaheim

Spoiler: It does not end well for Lesnar.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has just released the parking brake on the UFC 166 hype train, rolling out another free fight video to hype up its next pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Oct. 19, 2013 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

"Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" will feature UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, as he puts his 265-pound title on the line against the man he (re) took it from last December. "Cigano" first finished his longtime nemesis at UFC on FOX 1, setting up this eventual trilogy in "The Lone Star State."

Now it's time to look back, to look ahead.

In doing so, the promotion revisits Cain's first-round thrashing of then-champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 121, who looked like he wanted nothing to do with his opponent in the stand-up when they went to war back in late 2010 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

After reviewing this pic, I can see why.

Lesnar was going to get back on his horse in a showdown with Dos Santos following The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 13, but that bout failed to materialize and Shane Carwin stepped up on short notice to get knocked around for three rounds by the heavy-handed Brazilian.

As it stands, Velasquez and Dos Santos are the two best heavyweights on the planet.

For now.
