Video: Demian Maia vs. Jake Shields face off in rooftop mic battle for UFC Fight Night 29 in Brazil

8 Mile this isn't.

Think it's easy being a mixed martial arts (MMA) journalist?

Try it some time!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Demian Maia found that it's not as easy as it looks, after Brazilian correspondent Paula Sack tossed him a stick and instructed the jiu-jitsu wizard to spit some rhymes in the company of his opponent, Jake Shields.

Not that the former Strikeforce champ did any better.

Hopefully, they can fight better than they can interview, something we're going to find out in less than two weeks when "Maia vs. Shields" headlines the UFC Fight Night 29 event on FOX Sports 1, scheduled for Oct. 9, 2013 at Jose Correa Gymnasium in Barueri, Brazil.

See the rest of the fight card and line up here.
