Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) continues to march forward with its media world tour for the upcoming UFC 168: "Weidman vs. Silva 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Dec. 28, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Today's stop: Bristol, Connecticut, for a couple of rounds with the gang at ESPN.
Unlike this week's trip to "Sin City" (video replay here), this afternoon's festivities were held for media only, as both UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman and former division titleholder Anderson Silva got a little airtime on "MMA Live Extra."
Sorry, no hand-to-mouth staredown (like this one).
Instead, both champion and challenger were talking about the finer points of their first mixed martial arts (MMA) championship contest, which took place back at UFC 162 over Fourth of July Weekend, in addition to what fans can expect the second time around.
The promotion still has three more stops to go (see the full schedule here), including one in Miami and two in Brazil, which is sure to get the "All American" some extra points on his frequent flyer miles, as well as a few boos in "The Spider's" native land.
