Tito Ortiz is the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion who defended the belt five consecutive times. Before Jon Jones came along, this was the longest winning streak in title fights in the division's history.
Jon Jones entered his UFC 165 bout against Alexander Gustafsson tied for that record. A win would cement him as the single greatest light heavyweight champion in UFC history, while a loss would mean he would be sharing a record with Ortiz.
So it's safe to say that Ortiz was rooting for Gustafsson to upset the seemingly unstoppable champion. And he nearly got his wish as Gustafsson took the fight to Jones and almost won the championship gold. Ortiz went right to twitter to show his support for the Swedish fighter.
Hats off to @AlexTheMauler great fight I had u winning. Wow great show.

With Jones without a doubt the greatest light heavyweight fighter of all time, where does Tito Ortiz now rank in the pantheon? Is he still in the discussion or did his later years tarnish his once great legacy? What say you Maniacs?
