Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva is starting to do the media rounds (see his schedule here) as his UFC 168 title fight rematch against Chris Weidman, which emanates from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 28, 2013, draws near.
First stop: Lion's Pride Gym in Croydon, London.
That's where "The Spider" was
accosted interviewed by mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter Dave O'Donnell, who gropes the Brazilian fighter throughout the course of their five-minute conversation. Topics include his "All American" rematch, defeating Lee Murray and his knockout win over Tony Fryklund, which came by way of "Ong-Bak" inspired elbow.
As luck would have it, O'Donnell was the head of Cage Rage for Silv'a final match before joining UFC.
These days, the veteran promoter is steering the ship for Ultimate Challenge MMA (UCMMA), "Europe's leading MMA organization, filmed for Sky Sports" (says these guys), which holds its next event on Oct. 5, 2013 at the Troxy in London, England.
Perhaps we'll see THE NEXT ANDERSON SILVA.
