"This guy will be the next president of the United States. He's smart, political, knows how to promote himself. He's not an athlete with great results, but he knows how to promote himself. He knows how to use the UFC, and that's something that many other athletes can't. He's very intelligent."
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight huckster, Chael Sonnen, may have a career in politics following his run as a mixed martial arts (MMA) contender and FOX Sports 1 analyst. True, his bid for Oregon State Representative didn't exactly end on a high note, but he's smart enough to circumnavigate whatever obstacles may stand in front of him, according to former 185-pound nemesis Anderson Silva (via MMA Fighting), who told Metro the "intelligent" athlete -- who is incapable of producing "great results" inside the cage -- is on his way to becoming the nation's next president. Maybe, maybe not, but you can bet the self-described "bad guy" would get his share of votes. How about it, fight fans, Sonnen in '16?
