Move over Korean Zombie, South Korea has another potential superstar.
Hyun Gyu Lim put on one hell of a show last night (Aug. 31, 2013) when he dismantled hometown Roufusport fighter Pascal Krauss in front of a hostile crowd on the UFC 164 preliminary card in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Not only did Lim knock out the extremely durable Krauss inside the first round, he also managed to take home a "Fight of the Night" bonus, most likely the result of UFC President Dana White's infatuation with his performance. White took to Twitter immediately following the bout and was blown away:
Wow!!! How good did Lim look???

When asked about Lim taking home the post-fight bonus, White raved about "The Ace" during his media scrum following the post-fight press conference.
"Lim looked unbelievable. That kid looked really good. He looked like a worldbeater tonight and he's so huge! Huge and aggressive. I tweeted 'Korea has another badass' because this kid looked good tonight, really good."
Lim officially made his UFC debut earlier this year, brutally knocking out Marcelo Guimaraes in the second round at UFC on Fuel TV 8 in Japan. He finished Krauss in similar fashion, landing a brutal knee to the face and following up with heavy punches.
Could he be the next big Korean MMA star?
