Take that, Culinary Union!
Despite a recent scare that three time UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen would not be licensed by the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission due to his past history with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), early word from the recently wrapped meeting is that Sonnen's UFC Fight Night 26 main event bout against Mauricio Rua is a go.

Sonnen has been receiving a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for TRT ever since testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone following his fifth round UFC 117 defeat at the hands of Anderson Silva, but some extra pressure by everyone's least favorite union had put some doubt into whether or not the mouthy ex-realtor would get licensed to compete despite his main event taking place in less than two weeks.
UFC President Dana White also assuaged fears earlier today when asked about the mix-up by a concerned fan on Twitter:
The headlining bout will take place in the inaugural UFC event on Fox Sports 1 next weekend (Aug. 17, 2013) at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and has a strong cast of supporting bouts like Travis Browne vs Alistair Overeem and Urijah Faber vs Yuri Alcantara.
