"He's not (dropping to 205 pounds). And you know why? Because I will defeat Cain, and he will want to fight me."
-- Junior dos Santos is confident that Daniel Cormier won't drop down to the Light Heavyweight division once "Cigano" defeats Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Cain Velasquez at UFC 166 on Oct. 19, 2013, in Houston, Texas. That's because "DC" will want to challenge him next to exact revenge on behalf of his American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) stablemate. Indeed, the possibility of a future fight against Velasquez is perhaps the main reason behind Cormier's decision to drop down to 205 pounds and avoid a fight with "Brown Pride" altogether. That and kicking Jon Jones' ass. Regardless, "JDS" tells UOL Esporte (via MMA Fighting) that he will solve Cormier's weight-cut dilemma by besting Velasquez in "H-Town." Coincidentally, Cormier will battle Roy Nelson in the co-main of UFC 166. Anyone think dos Santos hit the nail on the head? Will "DC" cancel his Light Heavyweight plans and target "JDS" should the Brazilian bomber win the trilogy fight against Velasquez? Or is a potential fight against "Bones" still more intriguing for the former Olympian?
