"I’ll train and remain focused to fight [Weidman] on Dec. 28.... But, I hope [a "super" fight against Jon Jones eventually happens. That’s the fight everybody is waiting for.... I had a nightmare with Weidman, but I don’t fear him. He is determined, but has two arms and two legs just like me. Now I’ll bring Chuck Norris [to my camp]. I’ll bring both, Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal."
-- Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, still has his hopes pinned on a "super" fight against either Welterweight kingpin, Georges St. Pierre, or his 205-pound contemporary, Jon Jones, even if company president Dana White has taken the "off the table." That's because Chris Weidman made good on his pre-UFC 162 promise to, "*f**k up all super-fights," finishing "The Spider" and claiming his coveted 185-pound crown just last month (July 6, 2013). Silva was talked into an "All American" rematch at UFC 168, which is expected to be among the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion's biggest pay-per-view (PPV) events ever. It will likely be a "super" atmosphere and, with a win, a gateway to the dreamy match ups that he hopes will tie an emphatic ribbon around his legacy ... and retirement fund. Well worth adding another 1980s-era C-Level action hero to the training mix alongside the omniscient sensei Seagal.
