UFC 163 results video: Jose Aldo post-fight interview

Jose Aldo successfully retained his featherweight title against Chan Sung Jung at UFC 163 by TKO in the fourth round at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He talks strategy with Brian Stann in his post-fight interview.

Last night (August 3, 2013) at UFC 163, Jose Aldo successfully defended his featherweight title against the "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung at the HSBC arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion was able to negative the Korean's boxing by clinching against the fence and taking the fight to the ground multiple times with takedowns. This left some scratching their heads as the Brazilian buzz saw has utilized leg kicks and fantastic boxing in his previous four title defenses.

Brian Stann, who was filling in for Joe Rogan on commentary duties, asked Aldo about this strategy in the post-fight interview.

"Yes, that's exactly it. I saw that it was going to be a tough decision so I thought if I could take him down and put his back on the floor, I could take the round. I really don't know. I just work for the UFC so whoever comes."

Aldo retained his belt by TKO after Jung separated his right shoulder in the fourth round. The ending sequence saw Aldo target the injured arm with kicks before putting Jung away with punches on the ground.
