Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back on pay-per-view tonight (Sat., Aug. 31, 2013), bringing fights from "Beer City" with UFC 164: "Henderson vs Pettis 2" live from BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Headlining the card is a rematch from a 2010 classic between Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis from WEC 53. It was the final card held by World Extreme Cagefighting and the main event featured Henderson looking to defend his Lightweight title against Pettis. After a back-and-forth match, Pettis landed a stunning kick to the face after jumping off the fence, securing the win and the final WEC belt.
Will we see a repeat or revenge?
The co-main event features two former UFC Heavyweight champions in Frank Mir and Josh Barnett. These two grapplers have never met in the cage before and both hope that a win will bring them one step closer to another shot at Heavyweight gold.
Before all that pay-per-view (PPV) mixed martial arts (MMA) action begins, though, the night kicks off with several "Prelims" under card bouts that will stream on Facebook.com (watch it here) and then air on FOX Sports 1.
The Facebook "Prelims" start at 6:30 p.m. ET and then switch to Fox Sports 1 main card kicks off at 8 p.m. ET before the PPV main card at 10 p.m.

Jared Hamman vs Magnus Cedenbald
Twice in my life have I picked Jared Hamman to win a fight… Both times he lost in ~1 minute.— Jesse Denis (@ThatJesseDenis) August 31, 2013
Cedenblad's win ranks top 5 quickest subs in UFC. Hamman tapped so fast, Bob Sapp was impressed. #UFC164— Tyler Boeh (@TylerBoeh) August 31, 2013
Somebody forgot to give Hamman a message...don't leave your neck in there son!— Stephie D (@CrooklynMMA) August 31, 2013
Ryan Couture has a lot to be proud of. Considering his late start and physical tools, he did pretty well for himself making it to the UFC.— Jonathan Snowden (@mmaencyclopedia) August 31, 2013
Just realized that Al's name is Iaquinta not Laquinta....sometimes I'm a tool ;) #ufc164— Sarah Kaufman (@mmasarah) August 31, 2013
That elbow from Al was devastating.— Keith Florian (@KeithFlorian) August 31, 2013
Soa said he had a broken rib and was hit on it in the first round— Kevin Iole (@KevinI) August 31, 2013
And this is why UFC doesn't normally sign heavyweights from Europe. They are all terrible— Brian Hemminger (@BrianHemminger) August 31, 2013
Looks like an overwhelming effort for Palelei to keep his eyelids open right now.— Chuck Mindenhall (@ChuckMindenhall) August 31, 2013
I can see Camus winning, but 30-27?!? How the hell did anyone give him rd 1— Brad Tavares (@BradTavares) September 1, 2013
Alright, so 30-27 for Camus insane.— Luke Thomas (@SBNLukeThomas) September 1, 2013
Lol 30-27? What judge was that?— Liver Kick (@LiverKickdotcom) September 1, 2013
A 30-27? Hometown judge right there. #ufc164— Ted Gruber (@tedgruber) September 1, 2013
Good job Chico #UFC164— John Dodson III (@JohnDodsonMMA) September 1, 2013
Chico Camus takes the unanimous decision, but how is one judge gonna score it 30-27? How'd he win that first round?!?! Tell me. How?!!!?— Ben Fowlkes (@benfowlkesMMA) September 1, 2013
Krauss absolutely clocked Lim with a right hook when Lim was pressuring to finish and couldn't even break his stride. Homie was on a mission— Jordan Breen (@jordanbreen) September 1, 2013
Lost in the story of Lim's power is his absurd ability to absorb damage. I don't know how to say 'chin' in Korean, but that bama has it.— Luke Thomas (@SBNLukeThomas) September 1, 2013
Great win by Kim, but sitting here and seeing Pascal's ankles roll over a few times turned some of our stomachs. Thought he snapped it.— Joe Ferraro (@ShowdownJoe) September 1, 2013
son fell asleep off that knee. woke up to a bright light with ewerton teixiera welcomin him to the land of spirits b— GFKonMMA (@GFKonMMA) September 1, 2013
And one judge STILL has Krauss winning the first round!— Larry Pepe (@LarryPepe) September 1, 2013
Louis Gaudinot vs Tim Elliot
Let's just go ahead and start calling Tim Elliott "Mad Dog." That's exactly how he fights.— Dave Sholler (@Sholler_UFC) September 1, 2013
@LouGaudinotUFC hey keep your head up your the toughest guy I know— uriah hall (@UriahHallMMA) September 1, 2013
If Tim Elliot told you he was a UFC fighter you'd be like, 'Say whatever you want, I'm not buying you a bus ticket.' But dude can fight.— Ben Fowlkes (@benfowlkesMMA) September 1, 2013
Louis Gaudinot just got worked for this entire fight. Tim Elliot vs John Lineker anyone? Or maybe against Uncle Creepy?— Matthew Roth (@MattRoth512) September 1, 2013
This is a flyweight mauling. I didn't see this one coming; thought it would be a back and forth battle for 15 mins.— Joe Ferraro (@ShowdownJoe) September 1, 2013
Gaudinot has a great chin, but that's about the only thing he can take solace in after tonight.— Bleacher Report MMA (@BR_MMA) September 1, 2013
Great fight from @jamievarner . Amazing heart.— Carlos Condit (@CarlosCondit) September 1, 2013
Good come back from Varner in the last round. Feel that @TibauATT won 2 rounds tho— Martijn de Jong (@martijn_dej) September 1, 2013
Gleison Tibau gets the win. Gutty performance from Varner, who likely has a broken hand. Poor guy breaks his hand almost every fight #UFC164— Damon Martin (@DamonMartin) September 1, 2013
