UFC 164 video: Smooth-talking Josh Barnett dazzles FOX news anchor, talks Frank Mir and Seattle beer

Must be the beard.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett will make his return to the Octagon this Saturday night (Aug. 31, 2013) when he takes on Frank Mir in the co-main event of UFC 164, which takes place at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

And his mere presence in "Brew City" has FOX 6 "Wake Up" anchor Kim Murphy starstruck.

"You're amazing ... it's exciting to be here for us. I'm just in awe of you, you're like the real deal. You pound people and that's what you go in to do. It's just very intimidating."

"Awe," shucks.

Barnett, who was milk-carton'd back in 2002 following a positive steroids test, was in studio to talk up his UFC return, which he describes as "cool enough," while side-stepping a few PED puddles that could have dampened his cheeky appearance.

No matter.

"The Warmaster" was last seen cashing in his house chips against Nandor Guelmino at the Strikeforce: "Marquardt vs. Saffiedine" event back in January. Barnett, 35, has won nine of his last 10 fights dating back to 2008, with the only hiccup during that span a unanimous decision loss to Daniel Cormier in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix little more than one year ago.

Now it's time to see if he is indeed the "real deal," like Murphy suggests.
