Yesterday (Aug. 22, 2013), Jason Miller was arrested again. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight contender has had a rough month, as this is currently his second arrest in August. Earlier this month, Miller was arrested for Domestic Abuse charges, and held on $50,000 bond.
Domestic abuse is considered a felony in California and can carry up to a four-year prison sentence.
Miller has a history of arrests, with this just being the latest in recent years. He was arrested in 2012 for breaking and entering into a church, but those charges were later dropped by the pastor. And there was another arrest in 2011 for allegedly assaulting his sister at a party in North Carolina.
There are no details regarding yesterday's arrest, though we do know that Miller is again being held at the Intake Release Center on $50,000 bond.
Miller was fairly active on twitter last night, sending out some weird tweets before ending with a response to one of his female followers at 6:22 p.m.:
MODEST MONKEY @savannahmescudi— MAYBE (@mayhemmiller) August 22, 2013
He is due to appear in court on Mon., Aug. 26, 2013.
Update: Bloody Elbow reports that Miller was arrested for Domestic Violence again on a 273.5 (A) charge for Corporal Injury of a spouse. That's the same charge as his arrest last week.
