Check out the week that was at! We've got interviews, comments, fanposts, videos and gifs!

Welcome, Maniacs, to the fifty-fourth edition of "This Week in" MMAmania is a gigantic and glorious place and we pump out a ridiculous amount of content. If you don't refresh this site every 60 minutes, you might just miss something amazing.

Have no fears, that's what this weekly article is all about! We'll recap the best of all things MMAmania, whether it be a great comment, a Fan Post, an article, video or something else.

- Comment of the Week: Props to mrbiznizman for his comment regarding Bellator lightweight champion knocking challenger David "Caveman" Rickels out in less than a minute. .

knocked him back to the stone age

- mrbiznizman

- Article of the week: Sndrew Richardson had a splendid breakdown of "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung, the pound-for-pound most exciting fighter in MMA today.

- Statistic of the Week: Don't think Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate 2 is a hot ticket item? We had four of our top 10 articles this week involve everything from photoshoots both have done, Ronda flipping Tate off and even their criticism of referee Kim Winslow. If everyone stays healthy, UFC 168 is going to be bonkers.

- MMAmania's Verbal Submission Podcast: Okay, I may not have hosted a show on Wednesday, but I still did my weekly Sunday episode and we had some really cool interviews (which were all featured on Mania this week) with Ray Sefo, Angel DeAnda and MMA Lab coach John Crouch.

Did you miss it? Don't worry, you can listen to the archived podcast by clicking on the player below:

- Fanpost of the week: Adrian MacNair's UFC on Fox 8 Official Scorecards post was so thorough, so well-written and appeared to have been so painstakingly created that there's nothing else this week that deserves the top nod.

- Honorable mention fanpost of the Week: I really dug leriksson's "What to watch for in WMMA" post. I actually learned quite a bit despite how much I pay attention to that side of the sport. Great post!

- Honorable mention comment of the week: UFChanp had a pretty funny comment regarding the upcoming Quinton Jackson vs Tito Ortiz pay-per-view headliner for Bellator.

this gonna be at heavyweight or super-heavyweight?

- UFChamp

- Interview of the Week: In case you missed it, I had a pretty awesome interview with MMA Lab head coach John Crouch talking the performance of two of his top pupils John Moraga and Yaotzin Meza at UFC on Fox 8 last weekend. Check it out if you missed it.

But that's not all, I also spoke with Bellator welterweight title challenger Andrey Koreshkov, although his strategy of not breaking against Ben Askren didn't exactly pan out. Also, some of our newer Mania writers spoke with Bellator 97's King Mo Lawal.

- Video of the Week: This is why you don't do the Gravedigger before the fight:

- Burn of the Week: UFChamp may have had a good comment (seen above), but he also completely brought the house down upon himself in the follow-up of his comment by asking for recognition.

can i get some "quote of the week" love or something for this one?

- UFChamp

it could of been QOTW

- leerage

If you want to catch any good tweets from your Mania writers, here are our accounts: Thomas Myers, Jesse Holland,Adam Guillen Jr., C.J. Tuttle, Andrew Richardson, George Halvatsis Jr., Jason Probst and Brian Hemminger.

- Obligatory TNA of the Week: Good golly miss Molly!

Scottidog's "Good guy comment of the week" - This one goes to ricky~dooby for losing in the freepool bracket challenge with dignity.

well, it looks like a newbie beat me out of round 4.

- ricky~dooby

Lastly, let's finish off the week with some Maniac debate. This time, we're looking to the future.

How many buys do you think the Bellator's November Rampage vs Tito pay-per-view will sell?

That's it for this week. If you've got an extra suggestions for content, or nominations for articles, comments or discussion topics, please feel free to e-mail me at (and I made this e-mail especially for this):
