Before Chris Weidman beat down former (yes, former) Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Anderson Silva last Saturday night (July 6, 2013) at UFC 162 (re-watch the madness here), the promotion's annual fan expo wrapped up day two from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And MMAmania.com was in the house (again).
Many of today's top mixed martial arts (MMA) stars were seen rubbing elbows with celebrities in attendance, including boxing icon "Iron" Mike Tyson and pop star Usher. Unfortunately, I couldn't snap a picture of either, in between the sea of security surrounding their fan mob.
But there was lots to see and do, so let's take a look at the photo diary of the rest of day two from the UFC Fan Expo 2013 (and be sure to catch up on what you missed from day one by clicking here).
Fans once again lined up early in the morning, just to get inside the expo.
Ryan Bader signed a glove for a young admirer.
In "Grappler Quest" action, junior jiu-jitsu was in effect.
After tapping to a rear naked choke, the young lass is consoled by the victor, as she tries to hold back her tears.
Nothing like winning a FREE 2014 Harley Davidson!
The HeadRush girls weren't shy about posing for the cameras.
Fans tested their power at the Hayabusa punching bag.
"The California Kid."
Cris Cyborg was in the house.
The Machado family was on hand to give jiu-jitsu lessons right in the middle of the expo floor.
Mauricio Rua once again has the fans out in droves!
Tito Ortiz signed for over four hours, not denying a single autograph and going out of his way to sign everything.
"Big Black" was on hand for the photogs.
Ronda Rousey signed away for hours.
Matt Hughes was also generous with the fans.
Cat Zingano was on hand.
Is your day going as good as his?
That's it from the UFC Fan Expo!
If you ever have a chance to make it out to Las Vegas for a UFC fight card, it's a good idea to plan it around the annual expo event to maximize your experience and meet your favorite fighters.
Any other Maniacs in attendance? If so, let's hear your stories and see some pics in the comments section below!
