"Truth be told the only thing that matters is the outcome Saturday night. Like Mark said it's going to be a battle, we're both ready to go, we both have a lot to prove, we both want to get back on our winning ways and that's exactly what we're both going to try to do and honestly I'm looking to finish the fight early. So I hope he is conditioned, I hope he's looking to push the pace and I'm ready to put him down early so let's get this thing done."
-- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight and UFC 162 main card competitor Tim Boetsch said at Thursday's (July 4, 2013) pre-fight press conference (watch it here) that he is looking to take out Mark Munoz in the early going of their important clash on Saturday night (July 6, 2013) at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both men are coming of knockout losses in their last fights, respectively, and badly need a victory if they have any hopes of getting near title contention any time soon. With Munoz sitting just a few feet away from him at the press conference, "The Barbarian" openly stated that he is looking to make quick work of his opponent inside the Octagon and that Munoz better be ready for it. "The Filipino Wrecking Machine" is entering the event on the heels of a shocking physical transformation and it appears Boetsch feels a strategy of putting on the pressure and attacking early is going to be beneficial towards helping him score a victory in the fight.
