This card made history. Four (4) Split decisions in one card has to be a fucking record. Who said the flyweights don't have stopping powers? And haven't the UFC learned anything about giving title eliminator fights? Robbie Lawler is back to his old viscious form and women fights (sans Rousey's fights) should be on FB or Prelims. We learned that and more from last Saturday's event. I won't delve much on that as Adrian MacNair has already done an exemplary report card on that matter. See it here: http://www.mmamania.com/2013/7/28/4565484/ufc-on-fox-8-the-official-report-cards
In our won money pool, kg12, despite the blackout in their community while the card was airing, produced an event-high and PG front-page performance this event. Phasebook and swiftman tied for second place with both 90 points. Jelly_Belly said he has figured out swiftman and he said he plans to emulate him. Will it work? We will find out. All we know is, whatever strategy the Aussie is employing, it's working and is nearing him closer to the much-coveted Scottidog trophy with just three events to go.
So far it's swiftman, Phasebook and Oilcheck for your top three. And OH, VIOLENTMIKE picked Voelker over Robbie Lawler just to let you guys know. Enough of the talking.

MANIA1 CAMP:
- A record 8 people did not pick for this event -- 777s, Redman, scarnon, bigGcastle, bigger Lebowski, murph0706, MixedMartialFarts and Ella. I hope you are all good and well guys.
- SABUDHABISANDWICH and DALESDEADBUG are the only two that picked John Moraga. Goes to show you how people try to push their luck button to the limits eh?
- Are you interested to know the 14 people (29%) that picked Lord Valdemort? Ladies and Gentlemen, here they are: RILLY, OILCHECK, AFROTIKIMAN, THATSTANKY, MRBRUTALITY, DALESDEADBUG, BIGGANT, NINJA_OREO DOLLOP, JELLY_BELLY, TAP SNAP OR BONS, GOLDMOUTH, GURTHEE, SKLART and VICDUNDEE.
- How about the syphilis-infested beard pickers? RICKY DOOBY, JONNYBOY6969, JIDO7, OILCHECK, DONNMCSLICK, PABLOXL, JORGEHERNADEZ3, GURTHEE, JOBEN, SEPENOOB, SWEDISH_CHEF, SABUDHABISANDWICH, BIGGANT and DONKEYPUNCH81.
- 31 people (65%) picked the cocaine warrior to beat Mac Danzig who was picked by 17 people (35%). In the end, Melvin was too composed, too quick and too merciless to transform Danzig to a corpse after those brutal hammer fists.
- Female Anderson Silva? Anyone? Apparently, only 14 people (29%) picked her and boy did they hit the jackpot as Kedzie was not able to call on her fireballs. GDR's pickers: THATSTANKY, DILDON, JELLY_BELLY, TAP SNAP OR BONS, DONNMCSLICK, LETSTALKMMA, SHIVANTIGER, THE_PRIDE, DETROITDREW, KG12, OILCHECK, PHASEBOOK and SWIFTMAN.
- DILDON, GOLDMOUTH and VICDUNDEE apparently wants to pour some "Hot Sauce" into their picking skills. It failed as the Ginger prevented any form of spice that Smith wants to put on our camp picks.
- 2 YEARS outside the Octagon and MMA and still 14 people (29%) picked Aaron Riley. Here they are: MR.BRUTALITY, DILDON, DEUCE02, DOCTORMMA, RICKYDOOBY, FREENOW82, JONNYBOY6969, SEPENOOB, SWEDISH_CHEF, BITEMYJACKET, PHINSALLDAY, SABUDHABISANDWICH, TRIPPILCH, JIDO7 and DONKEYPUNCH81.
- Only 11 people (23%) believed in Yaotzin Mesa's ability to escape submission attempts and duke out a submission of his own against a proven choker in John Albert, who apparently was still picked by 36 people (77%). Here are your Prince-Killers: BITEMYJACKET, PHINSALLDAY, SABUDHABISANDWICH, TRIPPILCH, DOCTORMMA, PABLOXL, BNF, RICKYDOOBY, ROLANDANDO and KG12,
- MR. BRUTALITY was indeed brutal in his picking skills as he was the only one to pick Andrade to stop the Girl-Rilla.
- VIOLENTMIKE and DILDON were the only two to pick Voelker to beat Robbie Lawler. What a company you keep VM.
- In the closest picking divide in the camp, 25 people (53%) picked Danny Castillo to answer the last call and defeat bloated Tim Means, who was picked by 22 people (47%).
- 30 people (62%) picked Daron to lay a beating on Yves Edwards who was picked by 18 people ( 38%).
